About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi and welcome! I'm Rosella Kasper and I live with my husband in Branson, Missouri. I have three children and 8 grandchildren as well as a stepdaughter and 2 step-grandchildren. I love being a grandma, but I also loved being a parent. And still do! We are a very close family and I feel blessed. I also have 2 fur babies: Lil'Bit who is a Yorkie and Toby who is a Golden Retriever. My husband and I fellowship at Woodland Hills Family Church in Branson. Jesus is my Rock and my faith positively affects all areas of my life including how I do business. I strongly believe in the Golden Rule. I enjoy gardening, playing the piano, tending to my aquarium, riding on the back of our motorcycle, computer, the outdoors, learning to crochet, and learning. I love to research and learn new things.
As a child I traveled all across and up and down the United States with my parents and what I enjoyed most was nature. As I got older I became fascinated by the underwater world which translated into my love for aquariums.
I was not able to have an aquarium until I moved out on my own. In my first apartment I set up my first freshwater aquarium. I have had a freshwater aquarium at home and in my office at work for 40 years. I have kept mostly 10 gallon (and smaller) because of space constraints.
I am fortunate to have inherited my mother-in-law's 55 gallon freshwater aquarium when my husband inherited her house. When I became disabled it was just too big for me to keep. I currently have a 10 gallon which allows me to work in and enjoy it from my wheelchair. I love visiting public aquariums!
WHY I WANT TO HELP YOU
Until recently I have used artificial plants in my aquariums. I was overjoyed when silk plants became available because of their more natural appearance and movement. My opinion was that live freshwater aquarium plants were too difficult and too much work to keep. I enjoyed them in store and friends' aquariums, but I didn't think they were for me. I finally started my own underwater garden when I was no longer able to garden outdoors.
I was so wrong! Keeping an underwater garden of freshwater plants is relaxing and rewarding and they are healthier for your aquarium. That's why I want to help you with your freshwater aquarium live plant needs. Whether you are a novice or experienced I want to help you enjoy the benefits of live freshwater plants in your aquarium. They are fun and exciting and when you add the livestock you have an underwater world of your own creation limited only by your imagination, space and budget!
THE GOAL OF MY SITE IS
- To help you discover the enjoyment and creativity of keeping live freshwater plants in your aquarium;
- To answer questions you may have about your own plants;
- To help you troubleshoot any situations that may develop;
- To provide identification of plants;
- To provide a place to purchase plants and accessories; and
- To provide a forum where aquarium enthusiasts can exchange ideas.

Thank you. That's encouraging to hear! I'm used to using FrontPage or Dreamweaver and it's been difficult to transition to WordPress. I'm showing my age. lol
No, your wisdom! You will easily adapt to it, Rosella! I still have a whole lot to learn with WP too!
Jeff
This is excellent Rosella, you have a headstart on most people who come into this business in that you have experience and a passion about the subject you've chosen as your niche.
It comes through to me just reading your post that you're very enthusiastic and knowledgeable so there's every reason why you can communicate that to your audience.
You can speak with a level of authority that most can only dream about so I believe that with the right training and the right work ethic there's no reason why you can't make a real success of this.
WA has the training, it's up to you to supply the hard work.
One thing I would say is regarding your domain name. I just searched godaddy for the dot com version of your site which is not available (unless it's you who already owns it), so I would think carefully right from the start about choosing a name and branding your business with a dot com domain name that you can actually get your hands on.
Good luck Rosella
Mark
Thank you for your review. It is very encouraging. Thank you for the heads up about the domain name. It wasn't taken when I chose it. I'll check it out. I'm not very creative when it comes to names.
You're welcome Rosella.
Have a look at these sites for domain name suggestions....
https://www.namemesh.com/
https://domainwheel.com/
Or you could try the same name but dot info or dot online etc there are plenty of options although a dot com is generally accepted as being the best bet all round.
Good luck
Mark
I checked it on WA again and you were right. My domain name is taken, so I just bought freahwateraquariumplants-live.com. Now I just need to transfer my site to it. Thank you again for the heads up. I really appreciate it!

All the best to you,

Thank you.
It's beautiful! And the locals are so friendly. It's a family-oriented town and is extremely patriotic.
It sounds like a wonderful place to live.
