Inspired by Jeff and His Blog Dogs, I'm Going to Tell You More (But Not All)
I get such a kick out of Jeffrey Brown's blog posts that I've decided to imiitate his approach and write more here about my life and that of my dogs and cat. After all, since I've already written three books of my memoirs, I can pull bits out of them if nothing much is going on at present.
And I can try out bits of my next memoirs... I've been procrastinating something fierce about the fourth one, "Science Fiction Daughter." But that can't go on forever, gotta get into my files. Last year we bought an ugly old 4-drawer filing cabinet for my lifetime letters and journals. Kelly covered it with wood and it's quite handsome now. A good thing because there was no room for it in our home office and it now resides in the dining room.
Now my life doesn't have the activity that Jeff's does. Thank goodness we have moved so many times that we have had to get rid of a lot of stuff, though you might not believe it if I showed you the office closet. Nope, that fits in the "not all" category. But here is our dog Nicky. He's a Sheltie-Papillion cross we got when he was about four and had been through several families. We've had him about four years now, and we all agree he is family, even when he yaps. At the worst, I open a door and kick both dogs out when I get on the phone, as they think they should bark to take part.

The File cabinet looks fantastic. I actually have two two-drawer units in the wood printed metal.

I love the look of your dog, Rosana. I have a black and white Havanese and he's so cute. They would love to play together, I'm sure of it.
Anyway, I'm sure your life story is fantastic, you seem like a person who has done tons in her life. Besides, I'm like you and we've moved so many times... My husband says that every five years, instead of painting, we move. Funny thing is, we're just so good at packing now, that it is actually easier and less messy than a complete paint job.
