I have the 920 and it works fine on my Mac, and my Mac is like 6 years old.

I use a little mac app called Webcam settings to adjust the lighting and exposure so you can get good quality in different light settings. I also use the c920… but it doesn’t work with Final Cut Pro… it DOES work with Quick Time Player to record videos though.

The best resources would be your local computer shop where professionals can sit and show you whats the best and what camera would work the best

I just Took the c920 back and bought the c615 it's mac supported works great I just need to find some settings for it. I think I got that handled as well through the questions. I just subscribed to Jaaxy pro. Don't really know how to use it or what keywords to choose But I guess I'll figure that out too along the way.

They say they work with the older macs but I have OS X Maverick 10.9.2, IDK. I'll talk to the guys at Simply Mac and see what they say.

I went and bought a c920 because all the websites plus a demo I watched said they were compatible. No good, my computer tells me it's there and that's it. won't power up or anything. I'll have to check with the Mac store.

I should mention that I have a MAC and not all cameras are compatible.

I love my logitech c920, except that it doesn't work well with my video editing software (camtasia). But the quality is awesome (1080p recording, 720 streaming)
