My Progress

I'm just about to conclude my level 2 training, and although I could have completed it sooner, I can't complain about what I've learned so far. I've set some expectations going into level 2, and the majority of it was duly met.

As a newbie with a hundred books short of gaining at least some conversational knowledge about affiliate marketing, the lessons from the two levels were an epiphany to me. I've started a few blogs before but it was never targeted to a specific niche, and somehow research wasn't even a consideration. Keywords, trends, and structuring articles for SEO were all Greek to me and blogging was merely an outlet for publishing my personal thoughts out to the online world. Finishing off the lessons, I've managed to gain some confidence that was absent when I started out.

The Positives

As I said, the lessons I've taken up to this point opened up new information that I believe will be useful as I continue to build this business. Another thing that I find especially helpful is the research tools from Jaaxy which is just a tremendous asset to have for online marketers. The webinars conducted by Jay are also very insightful, and of course, the WA community led by Kyle and Carson is indispensable.

My concern is that...

I may not have considered my niche carefully through, and I'm having some second thoughts about it. Because when thinking about new topics to write about my chosen niche, I get mired in a sort of creative slowdown. Thinking of a new topic to write about without sounding too repetitive of what I've written before becomes an onerous task. The idea to reapply what I've learned in levels 1 and 2 to a different niche website has appealed to me, but I'd love to hear from the community on their opinions about making this transition.

The next 3 months

For the whole month of October, my goal is to get through all the levels of the training. By November, my goal is to exert all my efforts into generating income. And in December, my goal is to surpass the revenue in November.

6 months

I plan to work on promoting WA too once I get at least three niche websites earning consistent revenues minus my active intervention. I also want to be more participative and help out people here once I'm doing alright for myself.
