Local Internet Lagging, or is it my computer
In the last month, I have upgraded my aging laptop changing and upgrading hardware for speed. I have also updated to Windows 10. I am finding that my internet connection is lagging, we have two connections, one is cable and one is "high speed" using a landline. Both of these connections have been slow to respond when loading pages, no matter how large or small the content is. I have tried running a lan cable to the modems, without any improvement. My thought process tells me that there is heavy local traffic on limited ISP's here, due to the Season. My intuition tells me it is time to replace my aging computer.
I have seen a couple of other blogs, mentioning an internet speed issue. I am curious as to what other, more experienced people have to say.
I would just like some comments, or feedback on your current internet speed situation, so that I can make the appropriate adjustments here.
Thanks for your time folks,
All the best in 2016

We're experiencing slow time here at WA for the past week! There has not been any indications of internet slowing down in general over the busy season.
I don't know much about computers, however, the speed of your internet has more to do with your service provider and the speed you are subscribing to than with the age of your computer as long as you can run at high speed.
I'm sure someone with the knowledge will chip in to give you more information.
Good luck, cheers!
