After watching the video on building out my website, I'm questioning the structure of the about me section.
Kyle mentioned in the video to make the section about himsel
As a blogger, you need to establish your credibility about the subject you are writing about. The About Us section is where you do that. People want to know why they should trust your opinion, so give them your credentials there. Otherwise you're just another person online trying to sell them something that you know nothing about. The company is what you will promote in your posts. You are the subject of the "About Us" page.
If you create a company website, things to include:
1) The company mission and vision statement
2) The goals of your company
3) The profile of the founder, CEO, etc
4) Corporate Philosophy
5) etc related to the company.
Basically, is the same thing ...
If you have a one-person site, you'll need an About Me page
If you are building a company site, you'll want to offer an About Us page
