Fluctuating patience

Hi everyone,

I seem to be on a "one a month" blog routine at the moment. Things are progressing for me in fits and starts. I have a strong week, where I make good progress and each bit of progress breeds further progress. This is followed by a week of minimal involvement, where I'm excited about where I've got to, but a little apprehensive about the next step. My full-time employment and family and fitness commitments dictate the amount of time I can spend here at WA, but I am primarily in charge of how I actually spend that available time. I feel like I'm failing to make a point here. On the one hand, I'm reasonably happy with my progress, considering how little time I have and I have a plan to scale down my "real" employment and scale up my WA involvement, on the other hand I tend to beat myself up for not applying myself as much as I know I can. But I still have patience and above all, faith in this wonderful community and process. Busy week hopefully approaching and looking forward to this evening's live training.

Keep The Faith

Hi, roft123. This is a challenge for each and every one of us. Keep trying hard and you'll make it.

Getting a balance can be a real challenge, but don't waste any time on regrets - because the time has gone. You'll get there if you keep applying yourself.

We all are trying to find balance. Sometimes writing down what we are going to do for the day and when helps put the day and time in perspective. As long as we write something we are sharing our thoughts and fears and goals. Others will benefit knowing others are out there dealing with the same things. It shows were human. :)

Getting the balance is difficult. I spend so much time online with various marketing initiatives that the work is piling up. And it's the work wot pays!

My downs are days. I try to spend about 6 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week working on my website and taking my courses. I had a take a break yesterday as I was getting burned out. But today I am making progress working on a new website and my WA website. Take a break when you need to but do come back when you are refreshed to begin again. I wish you the best.

Roft123, I go through the same thing. I have really active and motivated weeks. My wife calls it my manic phase (LOL). And then I have my "blah" weeks where I don't feel as motivated and pull away for bit.

I think these fluctuations are perfectly fine as long as your down weeks don't become permanent. What I try to do is really bang out a lot of good work, content, marketing ideas during my highs. Especially when it comes to the content because then when I'm on my down week, I have some content already written that I can release then.

So it's just a matter of leveraging those productive weeks so they can carry on to the ones that aren't. But you're not alone my friend!

Cheers Eddy, though I do believe "synchronicity does not equal sanity", its good to know others are in a similar boat.

Indeed!
