Finishing level 2 entrepreneurship certification

I am finishing up level 2 certification for online entrepreneurship. I think I have the gist of the keyword search strategy Kyle is presenting. Sometimes, I struggle at getting to the root meaning of the training. Writing down what I think the training session is trying to teach me helps me understand what I am being taught.

I am going to try to explain in a way that I understood what Kyle is trying to teach me about using keywords. If I miss the point entirely, please, someone help me. Here we go.

How most people approach keyword use

This guy wants to fish to make a living. He wants to catch a prize fish, but he has never fished before. He decides that he wants to catch some Pacific Bluefin Tuna. The man doesn't have any of the equipment or any knowledge of catching this prized fish.

He buys some personal fishing equipment and gets some training on fishing techniques. The man rents a boat and a crew and heads out onto the Pacific ocean. The crew members encourage him and tell him that this will be a great catch. They go on and say to him that he only needs to catch that one grand prize and everything will be beautiful. As long as they are being paid, they continue to tell him to go after the big booty.

Day after day, week after week, they push him. He begins to doubt that he will catch one, but they tell him he is almost there, and if he doesn't give up, he will catch the big prize. He continues until he is on the verge of bankruptcy and cannot finish catching the big prize.

How I think WA Teaches keyword Use

The same man, discouraged, seeks a different way. He knows that people make a living fishing every day. Why can't he do it? Searching, he finds someone that says he can help him catch fish. He is doubtful at first. He doesn't believe anyone at this point.

Desperate, he tries again. The new person that teaches him to fish says to stay away from the big prize. Don't go fishing in the ocean. I know this stream. The fish aren't as big, but they are out there to catch if you use the right bait and fish in the right spot made just for you. You can eventually find enough fish to make a living.

The man gives it a try. Unlike the professional crew on the ocean ship, the new team helps every step of the way. Anytime the man had a question, someone was there to help. He tried the stream that he was told about. He searched as he was instructed and found his spot. It wasn't long before the man caught a few fish. They were not the grand prize, but it was better than nothing.

Before long, using this new technique and sticking to what he was trained to do, the man was making steady catches week after week.
