Why Writing Our Own Posts is SO Important
I get it, we all (even those of us who enjoy writing) get overwhelmed at times about what we will write about next or will I sound good? Will my post make sense? Will I sound that I know what I'm talking about? I understand that we want our post to of course sound perfect and not have grammatical errors, but guess what even the best bloggers out there are not 100% perfect. For example, Kyle himself (not trying to call you out Kyle!) sometimes has the wrong word or a misspelling in his posts; however they are so minuscule that they are easily over-looked or ignored because his content is so engaging. He writes from the heart and doesn't sound robotic or like he's trying to be someone he's not and that's why his posts are so good, regardless if there not 100% perfect, and I bet he'll even say that he knows that.
So what I'm getting at here, is that I don't for myself feel paying someone else to write my post is doing a justice to myself. I know there are programs out there that you can pay someone to write your blogs (I don't know the name of them because I don't use them), but, for one, even though the article they write may look great, it isn't you speaking through it, or giving the audience the feel of who you are. Also, you take the risk of what some of these writers give you, may be plagiarized. For me I want the audience to get a feel for who I am and write to them as if I was having a conversation with them. Sometimes you have to show statistics in your posts but that's okay, because when you talk about it, write exactly how you feel about them and put in writing what you would say if you were talking to them.
Practicing Makes You Better
So maybe when first starting out, you feel your content isn't great and that you are frustrated with what you are writing, well that too is okay. You see everyone has to start somewhere, and the most important thing is don't give up on yourself, the more you start writing the better you'll get at it. You'll start having visitors to your site loving your work and you may think "really? they liked that?" but yes they did! I read a post where someone gave a great suggestion: They stated that they were terrible at writing and new to the whole concept of it, and that sometimes the spell and grammatical check doesn't always catch everything, so what this individual did is, re-read their article several times over, fixed what they could and then asked someone who was close to them, to read it and see what errors they could find. We all have someone who we trust, and go to when we have ideas, or have a story to tell or to confide in, that is the "someone" we go to ask to read the post, sometimes even if we have to copy and paste what we have into an email and email it to them, if they aren't right there or immediately available to look at it.
Don't Get Frustrated
Of Course putting in as much content on our website is ideal, and it would be great to write a post every day, but at first that may not be feasible. If you try to put too much on yourself at once, you'll come up with a blank and get frustrated and want to give up. At first take your time and do what is possible for you at the moment. If it takes you longer to come up with ideas and to do research, that's okay! We are always in such a rush to get tons of content on our website and to hurry up to get the success that we set ourselves up for failure. The hardest thing for everyone, is to be patient when it comes to getting our success, we want it so bad that we want to rush everything to get to that goal quicker. Problem is, we move too fast and lose track of why we are doing it, and focus on the wrong things and then we build a wall that becomes impossible to get over. Well that's when reality has to sink in and we need to get the wrecking ball and knock the wall down and realize success takes time and needs to be worked at. Only do what you can handle in your current situation; if you try to take on too much at once, you're bound to get burnt out. Don't do that to yourself, you deserve to be successful as much as anyone here and don't short come yourself. Kyle says in the training often, that it is better to work on the low hanging fruit rather than try for the fruit at the top of the tree. Yes, it is important for SEO to use good keywords; however by writing good content and taking your time with it, there will be plenty of keywords right within the writing itself, and the search engines pick up on that as well.
You Will Enjoy the Fruits of Your Labor
If you take your time and let a natural flow come to your writing and making videos, you'll suddenly have more posts and videos on your website than you ever realized. So maybe it may take 6 months or it may take two years but let everything take course the way it should and regardless the time frame, you will see results and will achieve the success you set out for. Plus I guarantee I'll have made a few mistakes in this post, even though I re-read it three times (LOL), but it's okay I'm still going to publish it! To Everyone's Sucess!

Thank you for saying that! I know it can be tough, but we all have the seeds of greatness within us!

I couldn't agree more! I've actually worked as a professional freelance writer for over a decade & I can tell you with certainty, errors & typos come with the gig!
Yes, get the ones you can, but it just may not be possible to already catch them all! I always recommend to people that read their work slowly & out loud 3x before sending.
Out loud is so much more effective bc our brains are trained to correct as we go. If there's a typo, your mind knows what you meant to say, so it will correct it without alerting you to it!
When you read it slowly aloud though, forcing yourself to focus on each word & actually say them means you will catch more mistakes.
But a few typos, as long as what you meant is clear, isn't a big deal at ALL!
You can only do what you can do. You can't expect more from yourself than the best you can do. Give yourself a break! You'll get there!
So true! That is a great idea about reading out loud slowly to yourself. Exactly, all you can do is give it your best and that is just fine! :)
Yep! We need to stop trying to compare ourselves to everyone else & beating ourselves up when we can't be them! We need to recognize our own limitations, feel good when we do the best we can, & realize that the most successful people in the world don't do it all themselves! They have assistants to take care of the things that need to be done but doesn't require them specifically so that they can focus on the important they need to be doing.
If you find that you can't write as much, as fast as someone else, so what? YOU are NOT them! You're YOU! So just be the best version of who you are! down the line when you're making money & you have 5 different sites going at once, no one expects you to do everything for all of them on your own!
Every successful person starts off by themselves, doing it all when there isn't as much of it. Steve Jobs learned about computers by himself, he tinkered in his garage alone a lot. But when he became a billionaire with a bunch of companies & a ton of different products, do you think he answered every customer service call himself? did he write every page of content on his own? Of course not!
Personally, I am running my site as a one woman operation right now, but when I have enough money coming in to be able to expand, I will expand & I will hire help! There's no shame at all in going it alone & needing more time than someone else might need, or in having a staff of people who can help you bc their strengths are your weaknesses & vice versa.
Any way YOU decide to do it is exactly the right way for YOU! We all need to focus on that more & stop comparing ourselves to anyone else! I just created this image for an article today, but I think we all need to see it!
Best of luck to us all!
Awesome, so true and very wise words we should all adhere to.
Thank You
Anytime!
