Hi Robin,
a. Sounds great to me!
b. There are many sites you can use for flipping, so don't worry about using any registrar you like.
c. My domain name transfer was really quick. Within the day.
Cheers,
Suzanne
Hey Suzanne,
Thank you ever so much for your helpful reply and being first to boot!
At this point, I have to be straight with you though.... seeing your beautiful heartwarming smile again I would have thanked you even if you had replied in Swahili.
Best wishes
Rob

Good day,
What happens if I take a sabbatical from WA say for a few months or a year, will I have to move the domain names elsewhere then bring them back in.

Hi Tia, great question. If you think about your business logically, your domain site is like owning a house. If you decide to take a holiday overseas for a couple of months, you would still need to pay your rates, elect. etc
If your domain site wasn't with WA you would still have to pay the yearly ownership fee about $16 and a monthly hosting fee of at least $30 if you wanted to keep it. 12×30 = $360 +16 = $374
So do you get more value staying with WA . Definitely I would say as you still have all your training here when you come back, our community for support and WA watching the security and new technologies coming through for you.
Nothing to lose and everything to gain when you are ready to resume your business. Not possible with a traditional business.
Hope this helps.
Lily 😊
If you don't pay your premium membership for that time you will have to either move them or let them stay parked. I personally pay my $359 a year to remain a paid member, that way I don't have to start over if I do take a break from my sites. It saves me money too doing it by the year.
Thanks for your reply. I don't actually have the domain names yet but I have seen a couple that I would like to secure for when I return. Is there a cost to let them stay parked at WA while I am away other than the annual maintenance or registration fee or whatever it is called?
Thanks again.
