Some fun observations and lessons learned from the trenches over the last 10 years.
- Behind the door of opportunity is HARD WORK! Though the internet and affiliate marketing provide tremendous opportunity and options, it takes a lot of time and hard work to figure out (your) niche/passion and where to spend time. Learn the business by asking experts, go to conferences (attend virtually if you cannot physically), put the time and network with others. This is the phenomenal part of WA, networking and learning from others!
- INVEST IN YOUR BUSINESS and have PATIENCE! The biggest mistake start up companies and those who truly want to build on online business makes is to expect results too quickly and early on in the process. There is a reason companies use split-testing, different forms of advertising, customer profile testing and so on. This is more of a marathon than a sprint. Be prepared to invest in your business if you want to have true success.
- Make a ton of MISTAKES! It means you are trying all sort of different ideas, products, websites, pictures, traffic avenues, etcā¦ I have spent a lot of time and money figuring out what not to do in a campaign until something clicks.
- SELL What You KNOW or PASSIONATE about. If you love turtle stuff, donāt try to sell a membership program you designed for making great coffee. SELL TURTLE STUFF and find out all the nuances and learn from others selling turtle stuff! As the WA training says, Find your Niche!
- Would Anybody Buy THIS? I canāt tell you the number of conferences I have been to where people have paid thousands of dollars to attend to learn how to sell some specific product they have a passion about. Be HONEST with yourself or find someone you trust to be honest with you. Would anyone want to buy this? Your Passion or Hobby might in fact just be that and not a business! Be happy with an information page for you and the other four people who share your interest to trade fun comments and anecdotes.

This is a nice pep talk. I particularly like the thing about selling what you are passionate about. My experience is that making money anywhere is tough. Online is the same, but at least I am my own boss. Thanks for the post.

Great to hear from you! I came across WA recently and took a look at all the tools and training and was very impressed and immediately hooked! It is as close to a one-stop affiliate resource and training program as I have ever see.
Since I have multiple interests and companies, it is great to be able to leverage all of the services and support in one place. WA has done all of the hard work and I can turn on sites and programs and run traffic. One thing I have become very adept at is generating traffic, but I don't have the time to build out all the infrastructure.
The website program and TRAINING is phenomenal and worth the price of the premium program all on its own. I host on other platforms and will bringing all my domains and sites to WA eventually.

yes, there is great value here I have seen a lot of professionals come to WA and stay there are more new tools coming out this year that Kayle and his team have put together what I like about it there are always new things to learn. Especially in the economy that we are living in today better to keep on the top of the ball. and this is what they have done here and share it with all of us
