It’s gone past midnight, and I’ve just squeezed nearly every drop out of this month’s AI credits. Not all of them, mind you — I’ve got 302 left, which is enough for another few outlines. If I weren’t yawning like a bored Highland coo, I’d be using them too. Maybe tomorrow… if I beat the refresh clock.

Why the sudden burst of AI enthusiasm from a certified, spreadsheet-wielding Scot?

Let me walk you through it:

🕛 I saw the refresh timer. That was my cue. As any fellow tight-fisted countryman will tell you, if something’s going to vanish and you’ve already paid for it, you use it. No way those credits were disappearing without a fight (even if it was just with my willpower).

🗓️ I had a content calendar ready — and if you don’t, the Site Content section has pre-cooked titles. Toss a few into the Article Designer and voilà: drafts. You don’t even need to polish them right away. Just own them before the clock resets. (Save them as drafts.)

I’m fixing a category imbalance. Some had 3 posts, others had 12. I sorted by post count under "categories" in WordPress, picked the skinny ones, matched them to article titles in my spreadsheet (because of course I have one), and let the AI work its magic.

End result? I now have a lovely pile of draft posts waiting to be humanised this weekend. No extra cost. No unused credits. No regrets.
