Bonfire night as we worked
Just another quick post to say I am still here and just a few days to go before I can give a lot more attention to the WA Platform and involving myself with the community more again on a daily basis.
We have only about 3 hours left on the last job with just a little caulking and clean-up to complete. I finally got the client's new light fixture installed with an aftermarket remote control and Led light bulbs. All faults are fixed and circuits tested.
The new warm soffit is 95% complete with just a little caulking and clean-up.
We had to go to the next job to receive the delivery and put everything inside the client's front room in their apartment. The cat was not pleased, but the homeowner definitely was excited.
So tomorrow we will be there to install 2 new anthracite colored windows, one window is the size of 3 normal ones, and they are both at raised elevations, which makes it just a little harder for the install. But if all goes well we should be done tomorrow.
Then we will have a full load for the recycling plant and the dump. I just wish they could come up with a use for all the toughened glass we have to throw away. I always insist that we recycle anything that we can, even if it costs me a little out of pocket. It is my donation to the planet as a baby boomer
My only real contribution from these projects towards my WA training and online presence is hopefully all the short videos and photos I have been taking to build my first YouTube videos, well, plus earn some funds to support my online costs, software memberships etc.
So, a pretty boring post really, there have been some funny moments though, with it being the UK’s Guy Fawks night celebrations, fireworks have been going off all over the place and many of them we so close and loud to my helper and when he was working outside it certainly made
