It's the little stuff that adds up to be big stuff
At this point I have only been a member of Wealthy Affiliates for a few weeks, but I feel like I am making a lot of progress thanks to the Wealthy Affiliates community.
It's all about our goals...
One of the main things which has impressed me is the constant reminder that we are not involved in Affiliate Marketing just to make money alone, but our goal is to help others. Because of my past career and life choices I have always been involved with helping people, that has been my number one goal. With Wealthy Affiliates I can keep on doing the thing that is most important to me, helping people, not just to make money, but to learn how to better their lives.
Setting goals can be difficult for some, but let me suggest that if you are having a hard time that you get some paper or pull up a webpage orgianizer just start writing random thought about your future. After that you can go through the writings and find the key elements that are most important to you.
One of my goals is to have 300 referrals this year and another is to learn enough that I can help others in their training. I have been a teacher and trainer all of my life and know that I can do this also.
I'm making slow progress....
I have to say that it's sometimes frustrating that I seem to be progressing so slowly. I have been working on my website: http://amosienterprizes.com as well as another http://myunexpectedadventure.c... I feel like I am taking "baby steps," but at least I am continuing to take steps. My Wealth Affiliates family has been wonderful in supplying the training I need to keep going forward.

I loved Carljdill's recent post about why he is going to succeed in making a 6 figure income. I was so inspired, that I printed it out and have read it several times since. He listed seven reason he is going to succeed and I believe he is going to do it. With his help and encouragement as well as others in our community I believe I, (and you), can succeed too. 
So truly it is the little stuff that adds up to be big stuff. Take one step at a time, make one goal for today and do it, then make another for tomorrow and do that... Stay constant and like the turtle you will eventually get to the finish line.

Excellent post Leslie, thank you for sharing your thoughts. In the beginning it can be hard to focus our attention, as you say forming goals can be very galvanizing.
The online industry has so many different ways, to make money, create business, to find and seek engagement, setting that determination to help others can be one of the keys that unlocks the door.

keep doing what you are doing and keep following the training if you should have problems reach out to the community for help
