In-Person Training at Wealthy Affiliate
Having pulled up my anchor and turned my fortunes to the wind, I'm now immersed in the life of a Digital Nomad. My current business activities involve the acquisition of small, low-ticket online businesses with potential to improve, and then taking them to that next level.
My evenings involve purchases, handovers, negotiations and sourcing the talent needed to grow several lines-of-business concurrently. My mornings, however, are for TRAINING.
The Protégée
Recent WA arrival J-Lo (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jlomas-i) is a distant cousin with a burning drive to succeeed, but a lack of satisfaction with traditional education and employment. Reminds me a lot of myself, in fact.
So, here we are, both now moved in to an apartment in a city we've never been before. Mornings are spent going through the online entrepreneur training on the big screen, with me assisting with the more technical aspects and providing "shortcuts" and tips.
So why do we have to do this in-person?
Glad you asked. Since we are already family, I don't mind going above and beyond. And for J-Lo, he gets to shadow and observe as I manage my own online business, with the benefit of my 7-years existing experience.
While J-Lo takes lessons and lays the foundations for his business, he can see how to tackle his future challenges: Building a team, bulk-commissioning design work, content planning and different methods of monetization.
So, should you ever have a friend or relative show promise in digital marketing, don't be afraid to assist with some in-person training! In fact, you might learn some things you forgot.
Housing together is optional ;P
