New Life for an Old Girl

I had a short, but really sad bio when I first started, a few days ago, but my tune has changed.

My husband and I live in rural southern Alberta, Canada. We have a small acreage (27) in a ranching community where others run cows on their 2000 acre spreads. This is our dream home, which we worked for for years. The intent was to have a wonderful place at a reasonable cost (no mortgage) far enough from the city that we could afford. Well we got the spot and the house, it was even at a reasonable cost, it was the "no mortgage" part that didn't pan out and just about id us in. Two ponzi business deals and the loss of not one but two jobs left us deep in debt. Not a good thing at 67 and 69.

But hey, I said my tune has changed. Enough of the woes me. I am looking to develop a positive cash flow on the internet and I'm sure with all the great people (people helping and sharing with people) on this site I'm more positive than I have been in some time.

So thanks for being there, all of you, whom I don't know but hope to as I move along in this process.

My profound thanks to everyone and their well wishes. I feel at home already. I am not giving up. I am 2/3 of the way through lesson two (I think) anyway I am writing content for niche site. So onward I go,
Thanks again!

I'm glad you have found your dream home. Sorry about your business dealings. There are way too many people out there willing to take your money and run. This place teaches the right way to do things.
I hope you will be glad that you have found us.
As Jerry and Rebel have indicated you will find this community to be friendly and helpful.

Welcome to the Community.

So many people are in similar situations and it is sad, but when you can see light at the end of the tunnel, it makes it easier to handle. I am in a small town of less than 16,000 people and the only actual places to work are Wal-Mart, for the Sate of West Virginia or the local school system. I found myself over-qualified for most jobs and at my age now of 57, they don't hire you regardless. I can understand how you feel on the loss of jobs and being taken advantage of by others, seems that happens more now than ever before. I can say that so far WA teaches you everything step by step so you learn the proper way to do this business and they make you feel worthwhile as you are learning. I feel very confident now and I felt pretty low before I found WA. For what it is worth, I am here if you need anything. Even if it is just moral support I will be here anytime at all. We will all have a great deal to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, and I am including Kyle, Carson and a young man named Ian who sent me here in the first place. They are truly remarkable young men.

Thanks, Jerry, for the words of wisdom and encouragement. You are absolutely right, and I will keep plugging along. I'm so happy I found WA

WA is the place that you can do if, you don't stop following directions, don't stop taking action. It is slower for some of us Seniors to grasp some of this stuff but we keep plugging along. If there is any thing I can do to help you along, just holler. Jerry
