Hello WA,ers I have been musing recently over the potential benefits of affiliate links opening up in another window or not.Its good to keep people on our sites but sometimes wonder if sending them into the sales page with no where else to go will aid progress towards a sale.Currently experimenting by setting this option differently on two similar sites but as you can imagine will need a huge chunk of data to notice any trends.My question to the WA community is which do you feel works best?Thank

After a fair bit of keyword research I spent a few days last week working up a whats on site for my local area aimed at outdoor activities, a brave choice this time of year but thinking ahead to next summer.Happy with the site loaded with all the usual social media toys and good SEO I introduced it to Google webmaster tools well pleased to see it appear in the index a day later with all the title tags and descriptions as they were meant to be. Only been with WA for a short while but it has given my drive back which was starting to slow down a bit recently and would like to thank all the good people how have given me help and advice.Yesterday I went over one of my old sites that had been a bit neglected dropping off Google's radar all together. Added a lot of fresh content, re coded some of the HTML and took a axe to the keywords changing them completely . Whacked it all into Google so just waiting to see what they make of it :)Aft

rel canonical link query

If anybody who reads this can offer some advice I would be most grateful.Added some social media buttons to a site which required me to also add a rel="canonical" link to make things work. My SEO browser add-on is telling me that this is going to be an indexing problem. As the link is looping back to the same page is it just that the add-on is just seeing the link as a problem without knowing it purpose and all my work wont drop out of Google. 24 hours a day is not enough

Every year in our household we have a pre Christmas clean out using the rule that if it has not been used for 6 months or nobody remembers why we brought it then it goes into a pile for sale in what we like to call the great eBay Christmas bonus.Our daughter decided to join in this year and parted with some computer games that she deems too babyish now she has reached the grand age of eleven.All went well with the games selling for a tidy price so while waiting for payment I started to pack the
