Hello WA,ers
I have been musing recently over the potential benefits of affiliate links opening up in another window or not.
Its good to keep people on our sites but sometimes wonder if sending them into the sales page with no where else to go will aid progress towards a sale.
Currently experimenting by setting this option differently on two similar sites but as you can imagine will need a huge chunk of data to notice any trends.
My question to the WA community is which do you feel works best?
Thanks
P.s Good to see a lot of determined newcomers join WA recently.

It's been proven based upon countless tests that when you take a client off your page its best to have that secondary page open into a new tab or window thus leaving your page open for an easy return if they need reassuring. Also remember the click through rate decreases when you take them from one page to another so the page you send them too better be terrific. Really take the time to review these sales pages your sending your clicks too. Would you buy from who your promoting?
If you are found in a google search and lets say your website name is long or not memorable, if you take them off your site to another sales page and yours closes they will forget your site or not take the time to find it again.
Yup, just from personal experience, David is on the money!
