For Brussels
It has been a difficult day for many in the EU and my heart goes out to the many who have been affected by this tragedy. And in honor of them, I made this banner in the hopes that those of us outside will stand with them.
I've also created a page on my blog for this tragedy with updates and some personal thoughts. I've been mulling over whether to create a training for disaster preparedness and felt that it is the right thing to do. Hopefully many will benefit from it.
What do you think about disaster preparedness? Would like your valuable opinions on this as I think about designing the training.
Regards,
Eddy

Any amount of awareness or preparation is much better than getting caught unawares. In the midst of panic and chaos, one can be calm enough to know how to protect themselves and in the aftermath, to be the first responders to able to help others. The first 10 minutes of the aftermath is crucial to the survivability of others, especially those seriously injured. First responders can assist in first aid, calming the people and even directing people what to do. They are the crucial link with the eventual authorities by informing them of what they know, what happened, and things like that. So preparedness can help anyone to know what to do when the unexpected happens. Like first aid, it is better to have someone equipped with this knowledge and to have no one knowing what to do.

We have learned to appreciate life more than any things else. It is very difficult to know when and where it will occur again. Security measures seem to be the only way to prevent it. Regards Sadie.
Thanks for the reply Sadie
