Still Here - Just Different Priorities
Hi folks. Just a quick note to let you know I'm still around (I'm paid up to Black Friday). As some of you know I've been writing novels and have done pretty good with that but I wasn't in the right genre. I've been taking a writing course and starting in August we work on our book for 3 months and then 2 months of editing and re-writes. I think I have a good idea cooking so I'm really looking forward to it. I still pop into WA and read some posts and training as I set up my author website.
A word of encouragement - someone asked in chat tonight how much money people were making. While I understand the reason for this I want to remind you that you are creating a business for yourself so, I think, the better question to ask is: how much time and effort are you prepared to put into your business? Into your future?
Two final points:
1) Believe in yourself
2) Take tiny steps to your dream

All too often I find myself admiring the progress I've made, and not focusing on the path ahead!

Nice to hear from you again. Been wondering. Glad to know you are writing. I too am trying to do more of that and am working on an author's site. Not sure about it, so am going slow. The "tiny steps" :)
Hi. It's great to hear you are working on an author's site. I started mine and did what so many do and started posting on how to write. I've stopped that and want to start using it in the fall to write stores, poems, etc. Also recommend books or courses by doing reviews. I wish you all the best.
I didn't really feel like I have the knowledge to tell people how to write so I'm thinking along the same as you, use the site for promoting my own writing and maybe be able to encourage someone to write. Thanks for commenting. Best to you as well :)
