Spam...is it good...??
I noticed I was getting a ton of comments and they were 95% great comments but I noticed the web sites were attached and in some cases the SAME comments were coming through so I added a spam program though word press called Akismet and I no longer have 356 comments waiting to be moderated...saves a lot of time...if anyone has some insight on this issue please hit me back with your comments...

I agree with Steve. Get Akismet installed on your site, do a quick scan to make sure that you aren't deleting any real comments then, EMPTY THAT SPAM.
Spam is never good. Google could potentially drop you in the rankings if you have a lot of spam comments pointing to illegitimate websites. Plus, your credibility will take a hit if all you have is spam comments on your posts.
