Free vector graphic images, for commercial use
Always looking for graphics to use in articles, blog posts, book writing and other projects. Here are some of my resources (A Baker’s Dozen +1) I hope some or many in the community would be interested in these outlets.

http://logolagoon.com/category/freebies/ (They offer free logos (in vector format) that can be used for both personal and commercial purposes.)
http://publicdomainvectors.org/en/public-domain/ (bound to Creative Commons Deed CC0. You can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.Although absolutely not required, a link back to Public domain vectors is always welcome.
https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en (Images on the Rijksmuseum website are fully searchable and downloadable. Each item that has entered the public domain includes this information in the section of the item description entitled acquisition and rights.)
http://www.getty.edu/about/opencontent.html (The Getty recently started an Open Content Program to "share images of works of art in an unrestricted manner, freely, so that all those who create or appreciate art…will have greater access to high-quality digital images for their studies and projects." You can find these images by conducting a search on the Getty Search Gateway and then filtering your results by checking the box next to "Open Content Images", which is the second option in the Highlights section of the filters in the left menu. All images found through this program should be credited as "Digital image courtesy of the Getty's Open Content Program"
http://www.bing.com/images/ (Once you run a search using Bing Images, you can limit your results to Public Domain images by clicking on "License" in the menu below the search box and selecting Public Domain)

http://www.photolib.noaa.gov/brs/nwind1.htm (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration As government images, almost all of the images in this collection are in the public domain, though the website states that you must credit NOAA if you use one of their images. They especially encourage educational use.)

http://www.loc.gov/pictures/ (The US Library of Congress is home to one of the richest sources of information in the world.Its archive of digital images representing the various sections of the Library includes photos, drawing, posters, prints, engineering and architectural blueprints that have both local and international scope. The photo archives represent a visual documentation of the history, culture, lifestyle, achievements and interest of the American people.)
http://www.morguefile.com/ Morgue File (Bannered as the “public image archive for creative by creatives” the site offers thousands of high resolution digital stock photos that attach no agreement or restriction to download.You also need not register to access its archive.The site owns these public domain images and offers free licenses that demand no attribution.You can also adapt or modify these images and use it for commercial purposes provided you do not sell the license or sublicense or claim ownership in their original state.)
http://www.fromoldbooks.org/ Liam's pictures from Old Books (This is another personal website from an antique book collector Liam Quin who has archived more than 3,100 high resolution pictures and drawings scanned from more than 180 antique and rare books in his personal collection.There are no more copyrights in these digitized images that are considered in the public domain.You only need to let him know if you plan to use any of his images as a courtesy. )

https://pixabay.com/en/photos/?image_type=vector (is a substantial and reliable resource for vector graphics. All of which are published under Creative Commons CC0 as public domain. So no attribution is required and the works may be used in commercial projects without restrictions.)
