My first sale
Well I got my first sale this week. I thought that was good news. It was through the Amazon Affiliate program. I just received an email that my application was denied because Amazon could not get my site to open. Apparently there is no appeal process. You just have to submit a new application. If that was the end of it I guess it would not make much difference. But then I realized I may have to go in and replace all of my links. I have dozens of links on all the pages of my site. Hopefully this is not the case. Oh well one step forward and two steps back. If anybody tells you this is easy they are lying!!

Hi Rod, sorry to hear this.
I was accepted at Amazon but didn't bother.
It doesn't matter what the reason was for others, the bottom line of what I have heard so far are negative experiences.
You should contact SiteSupport they may see something that is causing your website not to open.
Yesterday Marion left me with a link where we can check any site for security to make sure it is safe before we view it or use it.
That goes for OUR websites also. I wrote a blog post and one of the members tried this with her website and there were errors. Mine was fine.
I'll leave you that link I shared today so you can enter your URL and see what comes up. Hopefully it's all good and safe.
There is one result where it shows 'external links' click on it and a list comes up. Take a screen shot if you decide to contact SiteSupport they will need it.
Hopefully between SiteSupport and this link you will find the problem: Check For Safety First Of Any Links Tool It might be a good idea to take screenshots or pictures of all your pages and posts with the affiliate links so you know what you have and where they go. I know in the lessons were are suppose to have a 'concentrated' page where our affiliate links are. Not on every page and post. Your's may be different.
One thing I don't like about Amazon is they wait for your first sale to see if they will accept you. That doesn't make sense after you add all those affiliate links.
Good luck!
You are welcome, I hope you feel a bit better with some help to look into :)
I don't think you'll be accepted back into Amazon but you can try.
There are 100's of Affiliate programs and networks out there, I have never heard of one waiting to accept you AFTER you set up all the affiliate links and make a first sale.
I was denied at first too, but persistence paid off. It is not easy, but it is rewarding.

How did you feel you got your sell?
How long did it take to be indexed by google and
where are you ranked on Google Searches?
It took about 5 months. I started placing facebook ads and linking back to my site. Not sure where my site ranks right now. I cannot remember how to check! lol. Best way to get something high on google is to post articles on Google plus. I am struggling with getting traffic. I have read everything I can find on it and tried several different strategies. Unfortunately some of the courses are expensive and I am hesitant to spend money on a course if I am sure the system will work. Good luck!
