I added media directly in my post and it doesn't appear there? help?
Could you be more specific about what you are trying to do and then someone will be able to help you

I want to add video to my post on wordpress , I added a video from my pc to the post and it has shown , but when i updated the post and went online i didn't see any video , i saw just texts ...
You need to first host the video on another site Youtube is free, and then you can use the embed code from YouTube to put it on your website

Once you have uploaded your images, etc. At the top of your post or page you will see a button that says "add media" click on that and add your media files to your post.
Hope this helps
P.S Make sure you click publish to see your post with your added media.

Well, yes and no. Yes you can find plugins that will allow you to add media files to your post. When you use such plugins, they will give you a short code to add to the post. Once you have added the plugins and activated it the short code will be provided.
No, because the more plugins you add to your website could cause your website to be slow loading when people visit. Plus some plugins don't work well with other plugins.
If I was you I will just stick to adding the media files by clicking on "add media" on the top of your post or page to avoid plugin problems.

Hi Reza, I just added my first video to my site. All I did was go into tools in the dashboard menu. Load Press This. I'd advise to save it to your bookmark bar where it's easily attainable. Then when you've either uploaded a video to YouTube or something of the like, open it as if to watch it & click the new Press this tab in your bookmarks. That's how I did mine. Hope this helps.
