To make your squeeze page convert you will need the following.
- An attention grabing headline.
- An attention grabing sub-headline.
- 4 or 5 benefit driven bullet points.
- An image or video.
- A strong call to action (to opt in).
Optional is a free gift of value? Make sure they have a link to buy a related product that solves a problem or answers their question. The greater the benefit the more people who will sign up. Some people will only sign up looking for a free way to make a million by the next day and will never buy from you. Eventually you should remove them from your list because you only want a list of buyers.
It takes money to make money. There is no free way to get rich quick or even one you pay for. Even the lottery costs money. Charity is only for the deserving not the lazy fools. If anyone can tell me about a way to make millions without doing any work, feel free to tell me here. I could do with another laugh.
All of them are scams. Crating a real profitable online business requires WORK! We at WA all know this. It is hard work in the beggining but gets easier as your skills and knowledge improve. So lets get on with creating your squeeze page.
Write an attention grabbing headline inbold large font. Tahoma or Caibri or one you prefer is best. I like using Red for the headline. Always have a white background. Make your headline stop people from leaving your site.This can be by evoking curisoty, asking a question or highlighting a benefit making them want to read more?
You can also have a sub-headline to increase desire to remain on your site and find out more. Don't believe people who tell you a squeeze page cannot get a number 1 page 1 ranking on Google because I have done it with some of my sites. After the headlines add the video or image of what on offer. Make sure it builds desire to opt in so that when they read the benefits bullet points they sign up. Another feature using an opt in page is the ability to split test with two different designs to see which one converts the best. Then use that one or test against another design? Using their split test code the squeeze page shown will automatically be rotated so that when you login to Aweber to check your stats you can see which one works the best? Don't forget to test everything before you finish editing your site and saving your work in WordPress.
You copy and paste the video url onto your site the same way as you inserted the opt in form. See the previous page. Images are easier. You select Media and upload them from your computer into your site. Position them left, center or right as you want. Make sure the image file is not too large. If it is use "Irfanview" to resize it otherwise your page will take forever to load and your prospect will leave long before it does.
