Doing Something that Scares Me
I'm doing some work on my second website, younique-247.com. This is my Fashion site and I'm very excited about it because it will contain all of my creations, old, new, and latest. But this scared me something awful for three reasons. I've never done this before, I don't know how to really advertise, and I don't know if I'm doing any of this correctly.
I've been talking with some of my fellow WA members and they make it seem so easy by saying, "if you have something to sell, open up an online store, set it up, then sell". Then I thought, " that's it, well where do I get the store from?"
Keep in mind y'all that I've never done any of this before, but I know that knowledge is power so I done some searching of my own and found a 7 video series for beginners on how to install and set up a WooCommerce store.
Then I thought, "OMG, am I crazy?, I'm about to open MY OWN ONLINE STORE, should I be doing this?, what if no one buys anything from me?, what if they hate my creations? What if, what if, what if! Then I remembered a quote I read from my Pinterest board that says, " Don't expect a change, if you don't make one."
After that, I threw all my fears out the window and followed the 7 step series, and now I have a great online store with some of my creations in it. HOORAY FOR ME, I've finally done it, and I'm so proud of myself! I'm still adding stuff to it, but I would love it if you would please go by there and check it out, and tell me what you think, how can I improve it?
Right now there are only a few items, but given time, my item list will grow, because I'm always working on what's new. I'm giving myself a big "Pat-On-The-Back!" Thanks for reading!

Retha, I'm so proud of you. The only way you're going to get anywhere is by taking action. To get even better at what you're doing is by getting peoples thoughts and just keep going.
I know it's scary putting yourself out there.
One of our members here at WA said we can't live in a box. Building My WA With A Winning Mindset I'm so proud of you for putting your work out there and stepping it up. You're doing awesome. Congrats!
