Should I tell or not?
Last week I wrote a blog about people, especially the ones close time(n you) try to discourage us from stepping up in life. Sometimes it even goes farther then that. Sometimes I hear," Go for it! You can do it. Don't let things hold you back and if you need anything to help you along please let me. I'll be glad to help."
I am partially handicapped and a lot of times have a hard time with stuff and I ask for help from those that offered. Those same people then say," Really ? All online, work at home offers are scams. Go get a real job......McDonalds is hiring!" Ummmm, these same people know that I cannot do that with the type of handicaps that I have.
Or when I search for work at home or from online I find this stuff where you read this repetitive email that goes on forever and at the end you find out that you need to pay a high price for a disk set or you find out it is a scam!
So, I said the heck with it ( not that word but I cannot type on here what I actually said, lol) and I would stop saying anything. Then those same people again would ask me why I couldn't lift something, why I isn't hear them, why I didn't drive to the store......something. And I would answer them and was then asked why I didn't tell them so they could help me......SMH
Now I have been fortunate enough to find WA and have no problem finding help trying to get an online business up at my own pace!
Thank God!

Jude wrote my words...Have faith in yourself and no, WA is not a scam..it will not give you $1000 a week...but you can learn all the lessons, you have tools and help here, so you can make the money flow in your life in the near future.
Yes I know that WA is not a scam! ☺ But my mother and uncle that I am staying with thinks that if you have to invest into anything then it's a scam.
Just know that everyone here is, or has been. in the same position. You can ask for help here without fear of ridicule :)
You're absolutely right!! I've found in business, "your closest friends and relatives are your worst enemies". We WA'ers are now your new "family" and will help any way we can, always.....

people can be really frustrating at times - i know it's difficult to not let them get to you. try to take strength from the fact that you have started your own business, what do they have? you're actually doing this and with the training and support on here will make a success of it
good luck

Phil, Thanks, some of the people are people that are letting me stay with them, they are behind in their bills. And I have not made any money yet. They will be furious if they find out that I am investing what little money I get into it.

I lost a good friend like that. Being an online Entreprenuer she felt that all I did was scam people. This started when I was doing energy conservation and showing people how they could save lots of money on their monthly energy bills. DON'T let anyone discourage you at all. It is never too late to reinvent yourself. There are some good work at home sites like https://www.flexjobs.com/ You do pay a small fee to join and then you will pay for training. Also there are shadow shopping jobs. Where you go and give ratings for services and products sold in stores and restaurants. You get reimbursed for anything that you had to put out and I love the restaurant part because I got to go out with a friend or my husband, eat, get reimbursed and paid to do so. You will find your niche here on WA and you will be as successful as you want to be.
I am sorry that you lost your friend,.......doesn't seem to be much of a friend if she did not have faith in you. I have done mystery shopping before. I worked at one about 20 years ago that is no longer in existence. Another company I went on 2 shops and sent my report in to them via internet as required 3 times and they kept saying they never got them, so I never got paid. Another company that I am still registered with does not pay much at all and there are not very many shops near me. The one that I was going to do was at a beauty salon where I was required to get my hit colored and they would psy $20. But when I called the salon to make an appointment I was told the cost was $60 plus tax and tip.
