My Journey Through WAU (part 1)
Writing helps me think and sort out things. That's the reason I've decided to jot down a few simple things I've observed while learning at WAU. The atmosphere at WAU is very friendly and most importantly very conducive for learning all about internet marketing. However, it is up to us to make the most of it. Some methods may work better for some but not for others. I found it quite difficult to remain focused (and still do) because there are so many features at WAU. Sometimes I feel that I do not have enough time to utilize all the resources. Hence, I've come up with the following points:
1. Following people who follow me - I've found quite a number of subject matter experts by doing this. They not only give me more information on internet marketing, but also show different aspects of how internet marketing can be used. Not every one uses the internet to earn revenue the same way. That's what makes it more exciting. There are also newbies like me in my friends network. They remind me that learning about internet marketing is possible for almost anyone if we are willing to put aside some time and work hard for it.
2. Writing blog posts - That's to sort out my ideas and to communicate what I've learnt so far. It also helps me flex my writing muscles. Something like warming up to the actual 'thing'.
3. Attending the beginner's training - This is of course the most mandatory step because that's why I am here in the first place.
4. Starting and maintaining my very own website - Well, this is the exciting part because I can actually own my very own piece of the internet and voice out things cluttered in my head in a more systematic way. Earning out of doing what I like? - that's the way I always wanted to work.
5. Logging into chat - Sometimes I passively read what the other members are chatting about and sometimes I drop in to say Hi or motivate someone (and also get motivated). This is also a nice way to share knowledge and get instant answers.
The above are just a few of my 'eureka; ideas. I will keep you posted on more of those.

Nice, thoughtful post. :) It just popped up in my global feed so figured I'd give it a look see. If you are having troubles keeping organized you should check out my new training. I am not sure about you, but I am a highly visual person so I use mind maps to visually plot where I am headed and what the purposes for each step are. The training I mentioned above is a tutorial I created in WA on how to use a free online mind mapping program to draw out your ideas and organize them while brainstorming. I like knowing the big picture result of little things I do and mind mapping is really great at taking the big picture and breaking it up. :)

Hi Beverly! I am guessing a lot of people have actually gone through this stage and a lot of people have also written about it. One thing I like to do at WAU is read how people actually overcome such feelings. Inspires me everytime :)
