About Renelmiller
Joined October 2014
Being part of the Baby Boomer Generation and a single mother of two boys, life was difficult for a few years for the three of us. We were making our way in this big scary world today, when I lost my husband and they lost their father. I was bitter at first but soon discovered that life is only what you make of it. I quit my accounting career of 30 years and began picking my way through the internet. I was surprised when I learned that I could make money working for myself on the internet but became discouraged because everywhere I signed up, I was lied to and these people just wanted my money and didn't want to teach me anything in return. I caught on fairly fast and when I ran into Wealthy Affiliate, I realized that I finally found an honest, transparent, and an overall great place to finally learn. I lost my mother four days after my birthday in January 2012; it was the roughest time in my life and I seemed to be very lost for a while.
Then I became a first time grandma to Elena Abagail, Aug of 2014. She is awesomely beautiful! I couldn't be more wealthy when it comes to my small family. I love gardening, gourmet cooking for people who love to eat, sip great red wines, enjoy a blazing fire once in a while, love walking on the beach and catching the sea breezes in my nose and my hair.
I love dogs and cats, and animals of all shapes & sizes, camping, hiking, puzzles, laughing out loud, and flower arranging.
I do miss my parents and am finding it difficult to fathom that I am getting older; my mind makes me feel that I am still in my late thirties. But growing older is one of the privleges granted to us from having and raising our own children, helping to care for our grandkids, and then helping our kids as they become empty nesters.

Thanks Mark; it's great to meet you as well. It's quite an accomplishment to already be in the top 200 and a newbie. I just don't have the time that I used to have to run around trying to help; I've got 2 sites up and running now though making money on them still has not begun. I'm tweaking stuff all of the time though. I wish you great success and whatever you do, never give up because it will happen for you.
Take care.

Hi Rene,
My first job was burgundy wine salesman; one of the best red wines I ever tasted was an Aloxe Corton 1973, that was pure bliss, like a velvety feather passing through the tongue, I'll never forget that feeling. Hopefully we'll make enough cash with our marketing efforts that we will be able to purchase such expensive wines!
Thanks for the follow, wish you lot of successes.

Hey; I know the taste, smell, and feel of a great wine. Have had a few in my day. Red is my favorite, burgundies are great but at times a little dry. I've had some good champagnes but drinking too much of that will give me a headache in the end. I love a merlot though.
It would be great to go to France and tour some vineyards; I love doing that kind of thing. We have quite a few here in Oregon and I got quite tipsy once going from one to the next.
I wish you all the success here at WA; why don't you set up an affiliate site to sell wine? That way you can get all the good ones you see coming through the links?
Take it easy.
Great to meet you.
Have a great time.

Thank you for the follow. We have a lot in common, I raised my for kids alone, we both lost our mothers, mine in 2015. That alone was harder than raising the kids. I just crossed the 50 mark and new there had to be something better out there than working 9-5. And here I am at WA and it has been the best journey. The training is awesome and the community is great. I wish you the best here at WA.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor here at WA. Yes, it's been almost five years since I lost my mum and I'm still torn up over it. I can still smell her perfume once in a while and I dream about her all of the time.

Thank you for inviting me to follow! It has been quite overwhelming since I joined here a couple of days ago, not the least am I impressed by the sincerity of the people in this community. We are all uniquely different, coming from different backgrounds, but deep down we are all on the same journey. I came here by discovering WA through reviews, and once here, I like what I see. I will update my profile in the coming days and weeks, presenting my work. To me, the potential here is a new experience, a new route, so I will take one step at a time. I have never before felt motivation like now to get to know people in an online community, which oftentimes is not as convincing as this one. I look forward to this!

Well, you are welcome and I am happy to hear back from you. I don't see your real name anywhere in your profile but will assume that it is Jan-P since that is the name that Kyle used for you and he is privy to scan and see much more of your into than I can. Or is that even your name? If not, then I'm very sorry for assuming anything. You could possibly try to sign your name at the end of your messages. That is unless you want to be called Norselark. I'm glad to hear that you are glad or motivated to get to know the people at WA. Everyone I have met is very personable and it's fun to get to know new people, however briefly it may be.
So you are a writer? Have you written any books? or anything that you enjoyed writing for the public to read? Despite the grammar differences between the way that your language speaks and mine (Oregon, USA), there are just a few differences but I think we can understand one another completely. I don't understand why you think that the sincerity coming from total strangers is kind of lacking here, or is that what you meant? It's true we are all on kind of the same path and some will get there much faster than others but then there is always many major differences and I would guess that you are a very intellectual person. I cannot wait to see what you will bring forth in your website and blog.
Have you begun to build your site yet or are you taking your time? I was diagnosed about a year ago with diabetes and as soon as I found out about it I was determined to reverse whatever it was that I had done to my body so far. I began reading everything that I could and then thought I should try to help others if I can so that is what my website is about. If you should get some time, I would appreciate it if you could go check it out and please leave me a message at the site? I'm pretty much bribing everyone to go to my site and take a little read and tell me what they think. I have not begun to get any traffic as of yet but I'm sure it will come hopefully sooner than later.
If there is anything that I can do for you, please let me know and I will do whatever I can, that is within my power of course, to help.
I wish you the greatest success and joy as you go about building up your site. Have a whole lot of fun too. I have been doing just that. I very rarely stress about anything anymore.
Take care, be well.

Thanks for your response! I also read through this whole page. You yourself can write quite eloquently - there is brilliance in there as well when the time is right. As to me, I don't so much call myself a Writer, still some may occasionally refer to me as that. I have mentioned three keywords in my profile, and my work is composed of those as one integrated whole. They signify what it is about. But I write, it is what I do primarily. Some of it is prose, most of it is vocational. It may be contemplated and polished over time, or sent out on short notice, like this very answer to you.

My own language is Norwegian, and the Nordic languages are similar. English is necessary if we want to reach all in other countries. Subtleties of languages are rather tricky, and grammar tools don't always suffice. I can see that what you refer to is ambiguous. There are other ways to phrase it. Could you tell me - without introducing new words: Would it be correct to remove 'the' and say 'not least'?

Since I came here there has hardly been time enough to grasp this amazing place, with its community. I have been here a week, and I'm sure you agree that I must update my profile first. It will take some days yet - I have tried out being public on the Internet since last spring, but will not rush here. Being here is to me primarily an educational process, long-term, to ensure a lasting basis for online independence. When choosing a profile name initially, as a newcomer, I did what I saw as common. My name is Jan, and I live in Oslo.

Your own work is definitely interesting to me, as we have 'type 2' in our family. I will soon go and study your site in earnest, and I think I can learn a lot from you in general. You are genuinely interested in your surroundings and its Beings, and you certainly have originality. The depths within ourselves can never be wholly fathomed by others, though the live diversity at WA will clearly inspire me.

Agreed: Stress is not the key. Persistence and fun is. Till next time!

Thank you for replying to my note. Yes it was longer than what I usually write to others. It was that I found your profile interesting enough to say a "longer" hello.
I do hope that you find the best of ways to enjoy yourself here at WA. You are right; do not rush yourself. Take your time and learn the in and outs so you become proficient at this blogging.
You will learn a lot about the type 2 diabetes from my site but it is more about the things that I learned about myself on an every day basis rather than on a teaching agenda. Also, there are a number of affiliate advertisements, you can just ignore them I hope. Someone did say that it appeared to them to be a marketing site. So will you do me a favor as you read through it? Would you send me your thoughts? and leave a comment at the site itself? No hurry but would be greatly appreciated.
Take good care of yourself my friend. I have enjoyed the conversation although written.
Hope to talk again soon.

Hello again!

Yes, I will. I instantly felt at home here at WA, and after the first two weeks it is now more time to read for real in the profiles and sites of the people I've met - that is one of the things I'll do a lot, going forward - and I'll give some thoughts plus leave a comment there with you. I just have to begin 'starting' that green button - you know, it's the people here who convinced me to join long-term.

Enjoyed this, too! :)

So nice to meet you here. May I ask what you do here? I know you said you love gardening, and gourmet cooking, was curious what's your niche? As for me, it was cooking, but now I'm toying with different options and undecided as of yet what to do. It feels like too good to be true as I've yet found anything to be legit these days on line. Hello Rene,

I am curious as to how you are doing and how you made the decision to upgrade to premium? My finances are stretched just now, so upgrading at this point does not appear to be an option for me. I can see there is certainly lots of potential upon upgrading, but is there potential as a starter member do you know? Thank you for your feedback in advance - and for connecting with me!

Hello Jeannie! Thank you so much for placing your trust with me and I will give you my thinking exactly to the thought processes I had when making this decision. I have tried many many other opportunities, or so they were called. I have lost thousands of dollars because people lie about what they are selling and what their products will produce financially. I spent enough time to know that I did give each opportunity a fair chance but it's like anything else. You just know once you start that the opportunity is nothing that the seller told me it was; and again I would get angry at myself for losing money that I couldn't afford to lose. But I didn't give up because I have known several people who are making a lot of money online. Again, it's not the money entirely either. So, why WA? When I read the first sales page that I somehow found online (funny how that happened? I had just prayed for help that morning) I was impressed with the idea that Kyle and Carson had started this thing in college and were still at it with thousands and thousands of members.
Then, I read people's evaluations online about WA; I didn't read a single bad thing about them. I began to go through the format as a free member but the more and more that I accomplished, the more I felt like I was really wasting my time and I also felt like I was just practicing with a niche that I am very serious about and that I was going to build a real website around this niche, So I might as well get started. To be honest, the premium member gets at least four times the amount of power that the free member gets and so unless you just want to practice a few times setting up a free site, I think it is just a waste of time. Especially with the amount of free help that one can get from seasoned members. You couldn't for a better group of people. Transparency, honesty. The cost is really quite minimal compared to other groups who want to wrangle you in, then you find out you need more and more and the cost becomes astronomical.
So basically, I felt because of the honesty that Kyle and Carson portray, the transparency with which they tell you exactly what it's going to cost to get a site up and running. On top of that, you have people to review your site and there are professionals who are going to help put you in the same tract, as long as you are serious about what you are doing.
That's how I made up my mind and I would find a way to absorb the cost of my site, even if I had to eat a little less or stay home and not do much of anything except work on my site because I really do want to help others out there to make it and I do want to help them to be successful, be it in health or working on line.
I hope I didn't jabber on too much. and I hope that this helped?
Take care.

I am back after taking a long period off. Sold my home, downsized into a one bedroom apartment and decided to give this another try. But I feel like I am very lost now and in need of mucho help to get restarted.
Is this where we add questions that we need help on? I need to know where exactly to get started, like I have never done anything here at WA? I want to do some keyword study, get a domain, and build a website. Where do I go to get it done? Thanks.
Reply

I will suggest that you start were it says "Get Started Here," in the green field in the upper left of your screen. Kyle has some videos to point you in the right direction. If you know anything about keywords, Kyle has a method called the Keyword Alphabet that's pretty awesome but it's in the first set of videos in that area I mentioned. Check it out, it will help you get things rolling.

Thanks Harold. Appreciate the help. What I meant is, I want to own my first website, I don't want to start with a FREE one. So in order to do this I need to know about where to get my own first domain. Do I have to purchase it somewhere else, then point the domain to WA's servers? Who can help me with this? or Where can I go to get all of this information? I thought that with being a premium member, there was a place to go in WA where you could purchase your own domain first?
I guess that's what I am looking for. I know that there are also special ways to use the keyword tools too. It seems like I am missing a whole section or something here.
Reply

No problems Rene, you can buy a domain name here or you can go to other places like www.godaddy.com, www.namecheap.com. You can find better prices than WA, but it's a whole lot easier to install them when you buy them from WA.
If you click on the Site Rubix tab, a menu will pop up. Click on domain, there you can fill in whatever domain name you desire to see if it's available. If it is, there is a checkout button to the right of it. Pay for the domain and be on your way.

There will be instructions on how to get it linked to hosting and whatever WordPress theme you desire.

Jaime!

Thanks! I've been here before but gave up when I came down with pneumonia. Then I sold my house and moved. So giving myself time to give it another go before I start looking for a new home to purchase.
Great to meet you. Take care and reap all the greatness that you are worthy of!

Hi Rene!
Love the fact that your bio begins with 'Baby Boomer' cause that is the niche I'm working, Classic Rock to be specific. Each day I'm adding more content to my site, and soon I'll begin with the marketing aspect. I'm thinking that I should establish a solid foundation that I can slowly improve as I progress my skills and exposure to this new and exciting project. Thanks for the follow and maybe I'll hopefully get some input from you in the future.

Good Luck!

Rock on Duane! The best rock n roll in the history of mankind, at least I think was the 70s and early to mid 80s! And I love your user name, I was also born in 58, imagine that. I can't wait to look at your site/blog. You will do wonders with that one.

Hi Rene (Renel?), thanks for the follow. I can relate to the "I still feel 30" part; and your "I love dogs and cats, and animals of all shapes & sizes, camping, hiking, puzzles, laughing out loud, and flower arranging." Could be me to a T. However, skip the flower arranging and add horseriding! Have I found a kindred sister?!

Hey Kindred Sis! Glad to know there are others like me out here. It's been a few years since I was on the back of a horse though. I hope you are kicken butt here at WA; getting a few names too? Best of everything you wish for here, just remember it is hard work at first.

Hi Rene!
Well, I see we have ANOTHER Baby Boomer. Guess i chose the right niche for you. At least I hope so. It could be considered too broad, but I'm determined to make it work. BTW - I love the big hair in your profile picture.
And you're pet lover too! We have much in common. BTW, I briefly looked t your websites. You've done a really nice job. I'll take a closer look another time. Right now it's getting late.
I hope you are doing well. Please keep in touch! Thanks,
Hal

Hi Hal! Thanks for stopping by all my little homes on the internet. Yeah, the big hair is coming back I have noticed. Not for just a specific age group though this time. I hope to see more of you around and I am sure I will. Take care of yourself, watch out for animal abusers for me and turn them in if you see them doing anything hurtful. We'll talk again soon.

Sounds good. BTW - I just followed you. Thought I already had the first time I stopped by. Guess it was an oversight.

I do hope you find success here (I'm sure you will) but I don't know how you could be a grandmother looking as you do! Sorry if that's an inappropriate comment for a business website, but I couldn't resist. Anyway congratulations on your family and I too know what it's like to be "parentless". Following you back. Thanks very much for the compliment! At least that it how I took it. Very sweet. That picture is the last pic I have of myself but it is only about 8 yrs old; not too bad for an old lady and I would have been about 50 there; lots of makeup. It was a professional photo.

I hope you are doing well in WA Glyn; how goes it?
Take care and good luck; work hard.

Rene, I see you are making some good progress through the Affiliate Bootcamp. Just wanted to pop by and see if you need a hand with anything?

I also wanted to mention the success rates of Bootcamp. Absolutely everyone that has taken action on all of the phases of Bootcamp has a business that is generating consistent income online. MANY of these folks are going to be at our super affiliate conference next year.

I want this to be you and I want you to succeed with your promotions. So, please promise me that if you ever need a hand or feel stuck as you move forward, that you will get in touch with me!

Trust me, I know things can be a little overwhelming sometimes and I don't want you feeling like that.

Anyways, just checking in. Get back at me if you need anything Rene.

Kyle: The one thing that I do want to know how to do right away is how to get my posts to post throughout my social media links every time that I publish a new post? Isn't there some way to do that so it is just posts when I publish? I don't want to have to go to each one individually and post a link; I want it to do this automatically?

Thanks for the boost!

If you have share buttons on your site, simply click those share buttons and you can share them to your social media.

I recommend that when you share anything to social media though that you don't do it manually. You will get much more engagement if you post it manually and offer some support text to encourage engagement. Just a suggestion here. :)

Kyle: First I think you meant to say that I should post it manually? You said I shouldn't post it manually; then said I would get better engagement if I posted in manually?

Also; yesterday I did a little training thing but I don't see it here? What did I do wrong?

Also; where do I get share buttons? I don't have them on my site and we haven't had a training about them either.

Thanks.

Paste your link manually to social networks versus using some automation tool. That is what I was referring to.

Here is the training on how to set up social share buttons on your site using the plugin that I use: This will help you out here. Let me know if you need anything else moving forward. :)

Hello Rene ... thank you for the follow. Congratulations on becoming a first time grandmother ... hope the young family are doing well. As you probably know by now, WA is the best internet business training platform on the web.

It's not going to be easy and will not occur overnight, but this is the place to be if you are serious about starting a very mobile home business. It will require a WiFi connection where ever you are and you will be "in the office" so to speak.

I wish you the best on your WA journey.

Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I believe this is the best place on the internet because it's the most honest, that is for sure.
These guys are two in a million, at least that's what I believe.
I'm doing good at getting the first site done, maybe you'll see it someday. I'm trying to make the world a better place for people with diabetes.

Take care; best wishes

There is a seemingly growing list of public health challenges, and type 2 diabetes is at the top of the list. I feel that the hidden cause is the growth of sugarholics ... becoming addicted to sugar.

You should be very successful with your niche site. I wish you the best.
