Telling Your Truth Keeps You Free

I have learned long ago that sharing those dark corners of your life, brings them out into the light and makes them not so scary. Telling your truth keeps you free always. If sharing your deepest, darkest moments of life is shared with someone that you trust is available to you, grab it and bring light into your life. There are none of us that are without some form of guilt, some form of shame but those two terms are just vanity. We are all deserving forgiveness, we only have to ask.

Because of the life that I have lived in the past fifty years, I have been stricken with the disease of type 2 diabetes. But I have been given a reprieve and a chance to heal myself by changing a few things of my lifestyle.Because I have also learned that telling your truth keeps you free, I have felt compelled to share this fact with any or everyone.

I first must change how I eat reducing my diet of all sugars, no matter what kind. That is not an easy task to accomplish. The second thing that I have do is to find some form of exercise that I like. I am not a health club vege and in Oregon it rains all of the time. But to be given a chance at a life full of health, it is necessary to find something that I like to do. Lastly, I must rethink my sleeping habits. I have found that removing all distraction at the time I go to rest, that I sleep through the night peacefully.

This is the elevation that I have climbed this past year, working my way to the top of a mountain known as good health. I am still working my way through the foothills of weight loss, daily exercises, and clean eating. It is the clean eating that I have found has its
