Going into my second month at Wealthy Affiliate
As we all know, everything we do and hope for requires alot of work. It requires extra effort and some times can be overwhelming. When I embarked on my journey I was not knowing just how much work it would take.
Time Management seems to be my downfall, juggling my full time job and my responsibilities as a mom, and of course find the time to make sure I am progressing here at Wealthy Affiliates. At first I gave myself 2 months to conclude whether this was going to be worth it. Now I have gotten so interested I am giving it 6 months. :D
My goals are not to get rich, just to earn income. I have been going through the courses, and one thing I have found is that its the little things that are not mentioned in courses that slow me down. Like tag lines, and keywords and SEO and adding links through affiliate sites.
I really wish I could do this full time, versus the job I do now, but if I did that I would not be able to afford to do this. So where to find the time to work on my website, write blogs, or update information. Where to find the time to take the courses I need to succeed?
Life throws curve balls all the time, recently my family has been experiencing numerous curve balls at the same time. My husband is attempting to do a career change, from Licensed Carpenter/Boardman to installation specialist. My daughter is getting ready to move out into the world, and I am juggling two jobs plus chaos at home. How to keep the stress at a minimum?
I feel completly overwhelmed at times, but I know it will all be worth it down the road. I am anxious to have traffic on my website, discussion and I find myself doubting my own niche. With one month done, and the second beginning I am trying to remain optimistic and look forward to new information, new training and new friends :D

Hello Renee, This is a great program witch allows you to do things at your own pace. So don't fret, I was a single parent and had my ups and downs. See your headed in the right direction. Have a good one. Richard

If I recall, we have visited recently. Your post... it's from the heart and it is obvious you're feeling down at this time. Whereas I am several generations above you, I can relate to your present position that you're now in. You seem to be a survivor, but overly anxious to see success because of I'm guessing the financial problems presently in your life.. which is understandable. Wealthy Affiliate and this community will mentor you through these hard times but you must be patient and don't give up.
Be strong, tenacious and never ever lose sight of your goals.

I am with you on this!I to have a full time job, single mom, photography business and WA! Sometimes you have to stop and take a deep breath, and keep on going. Try and have some fun in there too! It helps.
ya to be honest my fun consists of sitting down and thinking of new blogs to write on my website.. though I have a week vacation planned for the end of June, to visit family and friends on the East coast. So hopefully that gives me some time to work on this as well, since you can travel and still work :D

Hi, thank you for the additional blog, very helpful. My husband is supportive, he works alot to maintain the cost of living in our area. He has a good job and it pays well, but he is now moving onto something much better. He is at the age where he wants to hang up his carpenters apron and do some supervising and inspection rather than climb a ladder and swing a hammer. For me, It's been rather crazy the whole time management thing, with my sons appointments, therapy etc. the full time job and finding time to work on my website and take courses. I love this more than my full time job, it allows me to be creative, and share stuff with everyone. I was a little down when I wrote it, but after seeing everyones comments I am quite happy with my progress, and happy that I am part of this wonderful group of people. :D
Yes, the community has a way of making people feel good about themselves and their contribution.

Just keep trying to find time. I have the same problem with finding time to work on my site. Have not done anything on it for some time. There is no time table as to how fast you do this, the only thing is the faster you complete the lessons the sooner you get a return on your time and money.
I have little time, so I try to get a lesson in here and their.. I check my website, post a blog, etc.. I really want to be doing more but can manage my time to do so at the moment, my full time job requires me to sleep during the day, sometimes finding time to sleep is difficult. But things will get better in time.
That is the same thing I am hoping. Good luck
