Time Out - Family Outing - Feeling Relaxed and Focused

My husband, myself and our three kids took a nice long drive to Ensenada, Baja California Mexico this weekend. It took us around twelve hours to get there. My husband likes to drive cautiously. He also like to make many stops along the way to eat, buy snacks, buy coffee to stay awake and of course to stop to get gas, go to the bathroom and walk around. He likes to drive at night which would usually be around 1:00 am or 2:00 am. and when there are not to many people driving. He says it is safer. Plus he doesn't like to drive in the hot sun. The kids would go to sleep as soon as we got into the van.

Long Drive - Long Talk - Successful Online Business

Most of the time my husband drives I would sit in the front with him and we would talk about the family and his business. This trip I had a lot to talk about. I talked to him about how I was learning a step by step training on how to build a successful website online in the affiliate marketing business with Wealthy Affiliate. He was not familiar on how affiliate marketing worked. So I explained to him in simple terms like you promote other business's products and services on your website and if your visitor buy then you receive a commission. He saw how excited I was and encouraged me to go for it. I told him that Wealthy Affiliate was offering everyone an opportunity to build a successful online business if they were willing to put in the time and hard work to learn and follow their instructions and complete their task. I also told him that Wealthy Affiliate had a team of members that were helping each other to succeed. Any questions you have they would be answer you back in a professional business matter.

My Own Boss - When, Where and How

I told him I finally found a business that I can call my own and be My Own Boss. I can work when, where and how I want from anywhere and everywhere I want. He said he is proud of me and when I am finished with my step by step training if I would help and teach him on how to build his website. I said sure that is what I am in business for to help others to find their problems and come up with solutions for them. We talked about what I was interested in and we made some goals together. We then talked about many things after that. After we talked for a while I started to get sleepy. I fell asleep while talking to him and from being so late. He played his kind of music softly while we were all sleeping which would be a mixture of different kinds of music.

I drive - Not Many Stops

On the times I drove it was in the day and I don't make that many stops. I fill up the tank, have some snacks, my tall ice tea, put on some jams on and don't stop until I have a quarter tank of gas. My second oldest daughter like to sit up front with me when I am driving. We talk about things like school and her work or will just talk about stuff that is happening in our lives. What I enjoy most is when she is my personal DJ in the car she will play the music I like from the 80's old school or her music that I like. We would sing the songs together and have fun.

Trip - Much Needed Vacation

This trip was a much-needed mini vacation for us. We went and saw the beautiful beaches and listened to the waves splash against the rocks. We put our footprints in the sand and smelled the ocean. Felt the cool breeze on our faces. Gazed upon the sunsets and watched the twinkling lights of the stars in the sky at night. We were able to connect ourselves to mother earth and all the beautiful nature that was around us.

We reached our family's house we went out to eat some yummy tacos with them. Had a lot of fun. Woke up in the morning and had some sweet bread and milk and we were off to see another beautiful sight. A place called the La Bufadora it is a place on the coast of Mexico where the water shoots out of a cliff with a lot of force. They have a lot of vendor selling stuff. That is where I discovered you can make a business out of any niche. It opened my eyes up. I love going there.

We stayed about a week in Ensenada. We stayed two days in a hotel and three days with my husband's brother. He is a lot of fun to be with. He is a caring person.

Life over in Mexico is a little different then in the United States. We take stuff for granted here. Just to mention one (Hot running water) We always enjoy being with our family in Mexico and it is nice to come home too.

Feeling Guilty - New Online Business

I felt a little (guilty) to take this trip and the time from my new online business but I used this time wisely to learn and discover the many niche businesses that are out there. When you stop to think about it and look around there are many businesses. It is kind of hard to just pick one. There is a niche for everything and anything. That is when I knew I had to clarify and narrow down my niche and then I can build on it as time goes on. Light bulb went on that is what Kyle is always talking about in his training. Pick one passion and build on it and later you can keep adding to it. It is a life long process. You have to continue to add and update content on your website.

It was very inspirational and relaxing trip and a great time to spend sometime with each other and with our family.
