Outbound Links

It doesn’t make much sense to link a dog training site to a gardening site does it? “This is called blind linking” That would be silly, creating a bad user experience. If you’re going to link out to other sites, make sure that they’re relevant to your site unless you are offering concise information to the user that will better help them to understand a subject….like linking to a dictionary or Wikipedia.
If outbound linking becomes a method of choice added to your arsenal of seo tactics, make sure, (This is very important) to only link to sites with quality content. This carries weight with Google and offers the best possible user experience for those that visit your site. More than likely they will return, share and bookmark you for such a superb experience!
Keep in mind that you have the responsibility to provide quality content, something of value on your site the same as those you are seeking to link to.
Don’t be a pig with outbound linking. Balance is super important as this can be a double edged sword. Don’t riddle your site with outbound links or it will kill your search rankings. Outbound links can be good for Seo, but only in conjunction with balance and quality content on both sides of the link....
I like 'em short and sweet....
