I get up this morning, make my morning brew of coffee, let the dogs out to do their thing, and start to think about plans for the day, and where y next step is. While waiting for approvals from affiliate programs, I consider my site. Do I create more pages, post, more articles??? In the process I'm considering keywords and ideas. "God, please help my brain to work constructively today," I pray. I feel the standstill point again. Hurry up and wait kind of thing. So, for input I login into WA to read posts. In the posts, I notice some "where's the money", "success starts with you", "you have to crawl before you walk, cry before you talk" kind of posts. I think about my oldest son.

My son crawled backwards before leaning to crawl forward. He would get so frustrated backing himself up in a corner and couldn't go no where. He developed a habit of beating his head on the floor (thank God it was carpeted). Eventually with determination, he started making baby steps forward. With each baby step, he went a little further, until one day, he took off almost running on knees.

Thinking about this story, I read some comments from financially frustrated ones. In my bio, I put unemployed. Why? Because I finished school in December 2010 and started looking for work based on education. Every where I went it was under qualified with no experience, over qualified with a bachelor's degree, no response, or the run around attitude of "we don't know who you need to talk to." Under these circumstances, I felt forced to turn to the internet. A world I knew little about.

With school assignments, I knew something about research and the credibility of information, but little about any kind of marketing, except the paid stuff with all the questions of scams. I decided to explore while still remaining skeptical. I ran across a website owned by a WA member. After exploring, I decided it was worth following to check out the creditability of the teaching. I tried some of the ideas, making a few dollars along the way and signed up for one of the sites listed, landing a position in academic writing.

Through this process, I achieved knowledge in multiple streams of income, honed some writing skills, and learned about how to determine legitimate opportunities from scams. The amount paid through the process was $25. A small price for the value I gained over 2 1/2 years. I was also introduced to WA, but was still skeptical.

I had not been to that site for awhile, but for some reason (probably God's prompting), something lead me back. One of the first things I saw was the WA 7 day free trial. A free trial is worth exploring as it only takes time unless you join. During those 7 days the world opened up with more understanding, deeper knowledge, and a world of training techniques. My best impressions were a friendly, helpful community support, tools to build, and teaching to get the job done.

As I read posts, I often wonder where someone's focus really is. After all, I have had to change my own. I have had to learn to concentrate on focus and leave the complicated stuff to God. In the process over the last few weeks, I have been building a website, learning to market myself through writing articles, starting to learn monetizing, and am becoming determined in a whole new way.

The first step was exploring, then trying, failing, trying, crying, trying, cussing (forgive me, Lord), trying, learning, trying, accomplishing, trying, etc. And, the process goes on to ME becoming successful.

Awesome post!

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed reading this.

I am glad you enjoyed it.

Nice article with a good flow :)

Thank you, glad you enjoyed.

I really don't know if this is appropriate or not, but I also feel compelled to share what I have learned from making this post. I have noticed from the comments that even though people may read all the way through, it seems that some go with the directional focus where others stop the focus at some point in the process of reading. If readers are reading my articles this way, I need further directional focus during my writing processes. There is learning attached to writing posts. This is awesome in my book. Thank you guys for commenting.

It's a journey, here at WA. As a Christian, myself, I believe the Lord has lead me to WA , because of the vast knowledge, extensive training, and unlimited websites to build up my business--and niche's I enjoy in life! Just focus on the Lord and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:4,5 is one of my favorite verses, and I think it really applies for people here at WA. It's not a get rich quick scheme. Some people may earn quicker, while others a little longer. Ask a lot of questions, and attain the training, the classes, and some of the articles that people share with others here at WA.

I trust that this Wisdom will help you out. Not mine, but the Lord's.

Make it Great!

Eric

ericrk, it is obvious you are a child of God. I believe the same as you do. God did lead me here for obvious reasons. And, he does direct my paths. I am really blessed to have the privilege of communicating, learning, sharing, and growing with the WA community. Let's make it great together. I'm game.

Appreciate you.

Absolutely! Whatever I can do to help you out, please let me know.

Eric

Good job...love the way you think and write. When I become impatient a little phrase from language class pops in...poco a pocito.....little by little.

I really appreciate you graycarrot. You have been so helpful and inspiring to me. It is people like you that inspire my thoughts a lot of times. Little by little, I am getting there. Thank you.

Way to go Rabbak....it is always better to leave the complicated stuff to God and He will take care of it....good post....be focused on WA. .....cheers

Glad you enjoyed it. God does know what he is doing.

A friend of mine was jobless and in desperate need of money last month. What he did was go door to door to every business he could see and ask in many different ways for work. In the end, he landed a gig at a club as a promoter. He now makes between 2000-5000 a week and is being considered for the position of manager.

While this makes me feel quite jealous, it also proves the power of the law of averages. He spent five days relentlessly searching for work and eventually something great came along.

What I`m trying to say here is that good things can only come along to those who "stay in the trenches" and continually push the envelope on what they think is possible for them. Never limit yourself and always work hard!

So very true. What I have found is some areas, such as mine, almost every business requires applying online. I get the impression that it avoids what your friend did to gain employment. There is no way I am willing to give up, but in the process, I am learning new things.

Good post. Nice style. Easy reading.

Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it.

What a great story! Keep moving! Lee

Thank you and I am determined to keep moving.
