Hi Mikael. I know how to customize the menu's but nowhere can I find where to delete the original buttons/links. I only can see one menu in the menu editor and that is the top navigation menu that I created with my own buttons/links. I enclosed a screenshot for better clarification.
it is likely a theme thing then. But where you can likely find the settings for is by going appearance, customize, and then check out the menu settings there.
If you cannot find a way to remove it here, it might be worth checking documentation for your specific theme

It should be possible to remove though - try to google info about your specific theme.
