Creating Unique Content or Re-Inventing the Wheel?

With the pressures that come with regularly creating new original relevant and interesting content on your website, it's easy to experience feeling discouraged when your posts are not getting ranked amongst the top keyword search pages in any of the major search engines.

Equally, it's easy to become bewildered by the thoughts of how to successfully stand any chance of competing with millions of others within your niche.

The issue of how to go about resolving this seemingly insurmountable problem was becoming a big hurdle, for me every week when trying to create new unique content to post on my website.

Not wanting to be defeated by this obstacle. I spent a lot of time 'google-searching' for solutions (haha). Whilst researching 'the problem', I came across the website writingstudio.com. which was very useful for helping me with redefining my perception of 'the problem'.

The winning formula for creating 100% Unique Content on your website, is having a Unique Perspective on the issues being talked about within your niche.

Adding to the conversation, rather than repeating the same old topics and information being discussed by 'the top competitors' within the niche, (who are all more or less saying the same thing).

This got me thinking about how unique we all are as human beings. However, in an era of interacting with others mainly via online social media platforms, it seems we're easily losing or giving up our individual uniqueness, for uniformity.

Going forwards, it'll be important for humans to maintain their uniqueness as individuals. Especially at a time, when technology seems to be encouraging us to hand over our humanity to AI, and to conform with what the majority are thinking and saying.

If I had to choose, I'll continue being uniquely who I am and communicate my unique perspective with my niche audience (or anyone else who is interested in what I have to say).

In discovering and communicating my unique viewpoint, I needed to look within, to inner guidance from my intuition/higher consciousness.

I regularly practice 'intention-setting' for easily finding new titles and original content when creating each new post.

It's an ongoing work in progress and I still find writing original content challenging. But now I have a much better framework for keeping my content original.

I totally agree with you, Ruth, which is why I am developing sites to sell some of my vintage book inventory and to promote my own books which I have written. There shouldn't be much to plagiarize in that department!

Jeff

Yes. I was told once to find my voice. I got hung up on what was my voice. How do I find it?

I learned that just writing as if I was writing a friend works great. You will also find that in doing that your personality begins to shine through in your writing!

In that, I found my voice! It's just about being yourself.

I wholeheartedly agree. We are losing ourselves trying to be like everyone else.

Great post, thanks for sharing.
