Is this hosted at Wealthy Affiliate or somewhere else?
You could probably rebuild it in Siterubix and then move it back after you've deleted the other site. I think the domain would remain current even though you've deleted the site itself.
You may want to query this with Site Support?

If you really want to dump it and start over, click on Websites >> View Details. Scroll right down to the Delete Website button and click it. Then you can rebuild it using the Domain I Own option.
Understand that you will lose all pages and posts previously created.
