New social media site to share content on-Worth it?

Yes you heard right. I've been following the development of a new social media platform called "It." It boasts a revolutionary concept--self monitization. What does this mean?

Well for one, there are no ads. Others started out this way (Facebook for one, I believe), but now you see all the data mining and everything attached to what you have posted, what you are reading, or even sites you've visited. It's a bit creepy, but none the less a lot of us find the use of social media a great tool to share our content in the midst of the clutter.

Secondly, there's an opportunity for you to save and profit. Let me explain. We are all familiar with affiliate links through training. Well this social media is run off of affiliates. Affiliates include thousands of companies like Walmart, Best Buy, Woodwind and Brasswind, FYE, Newegg, Barnes and Noble, etc. (as well as smaller companies we maybe wouldn't think to look at). People who buy anything (books, computers, pens, groceries, phones, or whatever you would normally buy online) through IT not only find the best prices in a single search, but once they buy, they receive a portion of the commission--10%. And when people you invite buy, you also receive 5% of their portion of the affiliate commission. Sure it's 10% of 4% or whatever, but you can see the potential if you invite a lot of people.

Thirdly, there's a way for you to leverage not only your posts, but link specific products within the app for people to check out. Say you're writing an article or even posting a picture of something you're writing about. You don't have to post the entire article, but it has been done. Then within the comments, you slip a link (from the e-commerce) that people click on...well, you get commission from that too. In fact you can save a group of products and post all of them with one link.

What all this means to you is this: opportunity. Sure there's a business side to it that goes even further, but everyone (EVERYONE) should get a piece of the social media.

Here's the thing, IT launches today! I've already saved money by using it. I gotta say, it's legit! https://lifeonit.com/?invite=1536847 . Please join me:) I know a lot of people of all ages like to shop. Try it free!

I did a little digging. The problem with Ripplin is that the business was not separated from the site that normal people--the people not looking to make money from it--used..or was going to use. It we positioned as a paid referral deal and all that. Lifeonit is live now for people to check out, at least, without worrying about recruiting and all that stuff. So far, it has been very organized and shows some promise. I do hope that that promise is founded. Also Terry Bradshaw (Fox Enterprise) is doing a video release here soon. The other difference is Ripplin never launched. The last comment visible on their Facebook page is "When do you guys launch" in Feb 2014. I hope this helps.

I'm one to watch out for scams as much as the next guy. I'm hoping that this turns out to be the real deal. I don't jump in much new either, but this one seems legit the more I look into it.

I am with Labman on this one. This sounds a little shady at this moment,

I've never been one to jump on every new thing. The jury is still out on this one.
Ripplin was a similar product that sucked in millions and then blew up after the owners collected the emails.
