You don't really have to wait for your site to rank on Google for you to start seeing sales and results, especially if your niche/keyword is highly competitive.

Simply use Google Adwords to have your site sponsored at the very top. The key here is to spend on Adwords just less than they're earning you. It's worth investing in for a trial and error period (about a week is good), because once you find that sweet spot, you're at a consistent profit. Simply scale up that same method (whether with your other sites or separate keywords). There really is no limit.

Example: Say you're spending $20/day on Google Adwords. And that's netting you about 500 site visits per day. And say your conversion rate is 0.1% for a sale of $50. Essentially that's 1 sale of $50 per 1000 visits. You're putting in $20/day to Google Adwords to get 500 visitors, which is $40 for 1000 visitors every 2 days, which ends up giving you a sale of $50/two days. That's $10 profit every 2 days or $5 profit per day.. Which is $150 profit per month. Apply this same method to ten more sites, that's $1500/month. Repeat ad infinitum.

Success is simpler than you think. But even though I strongly believe that it does not take money to earn money - with this method it obviously does, and that may not be for everyone. But for those who like the faster route, just wanted to share my two cents.
