I'm stuck an wonder if there is more tools I can use to explore different potential niches? For example, I love photography and am fairly good, but that is a very broad term.

ok so you like photography - what type
landscape, portrait, wildlife.
if you say all then you have a problem - unless you go back to basics - where you help beginners with the basics of the camera to get the best out of it.
choosing their camera, what aperture and shutter speed do.
but you can use jaaxy to find potential niches and then have a look in google trends to see whether it is still current.
what about phone cameras - they are getting ridiculous megapixels now - but are they any good for photography?
what about hte addon lenses for these - do they work, what should you carry with you and how.
as you say photography is such a wide topic, what you need to do is to check out what google trends is showing for dslr, mirrorless cameras, etc and see what area prople are looking into.
you also need to decide what people you are going to trget, beginners, intermediate or advanced.
you don't want to try to teach an advanced photographer how to use the aperture to adjust the depth of field - unless you have a trick or two.
you could look into creating a course or two.
or affiliate for other courses you think are good.
and review cameras for low, med and high budgets.
but choosing your audience is one of the first things you want to do and then find them in forums and see what they need to be helped with and take it from there.
good luck, this is a large niche with loads of potential.

Phil,
Thank you for your extensive response. It is quite helpful. Realistically, assuming I will take the journey step by step (I see there are hours of training videos... how many do I need in your opinion?). How long would you say this will take until I'm up and running with confidence? Thanks.

Ralph, finding your voice - unless you are used to writing in a conversational tone - is one of the most important parts of establishing your niche.
i have a 3d printer site, which started to take off when i found my audience.
similar to here, where you see the same question asked you go to your site and add an article - then go back to the forum/fb group and tell them about it.
i got to about 100 visitors a day within 9 month and 90 articles on my site.
what i didn't factor in was another low priced printer taking over the reigns!!
i ran out of steam on that one - but over a year later it still gets about 100 visits a day.
so i would factor in about 100 articles and 9 months to get it self running, but every niche will be different.
don't try to sell, be very helpful and recommend items you have used and work well.or know to work well.
solve their problems and they will be grateful, by buying through your links.

Great insight. Thanks.

Ralph there is a handy app at keywordseverywhere.com which you might want to try. However, I think you are more after a market research report, which I am not sure would be cheap Hope this helps! Arie

I know this is called Wealthy Affiliate. Suppose I want a site that will simply get leads for my business. Is this the right program?

jay has done a few local seo webinars - might be worth checking them out - but worth going through the oec course first to get used to the business model.
good luck with getting more leads.
phil
it might be worth looking at the astra theme with the starter template pack plugin and choose a template to suit your business type.

Hello, Welcome to WA

1. Yes, in my opinion this is the best platform out there as I've used a few.

2. Yes, you certainly can have 50 websites with your premium membership. 25 free domains + 25 of your own bought domains. These can all differ if you like.

Regards

Thanks for your quick resposne

1. Yes, you can build your website to garner leads if that is what you choose to do.
2. You get 25 websites with their own URL. ( You need to Purchase the Registration for each site) and you can get 25 sites with the siterubix.com subdomain. ( No URL necessary to purchase but the siterubix sites are on a subdomain so they will have a few limitations.)

Thank you for your quick response
