Still Buzzing
Introduction
Good Morning to all you lovely people at the Wonderful WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
Thought that I would do my weekly blog this morning, it is a beautiful day here in deepest South Derbyshire, have even put a couple of plants in my herbaceous bed, been on live chat and done some work on my project.
This is one of the reasons for writing this before lunch, I am so fired up with the project that I do not want to leave it alone. Decided to have a little break from it so that this can be done whilst I have time.
The Last Few Days
As you will gather from the introduction, I have been working quite hard on my newsletter project. Contacted my mentor, who is in total agreement with my thoughts, plus giving me some really good advice on them. He has suggested that I do at least three to start with, to avoid stress, get enough without looking for more, lol.
The newsletter will have twelve monthly issues, the extra four will become special bonuses, like the other bonuses they will be issued two weeks after the monthly ones.
All the twelve issues have been looked at for content, notes taken, where more content is needed or the existing content needs to be amended. All editorials have also been done.
Have managed to layout the content for two more books, these when finished will be either bonuses or promotional items. Talking of which I have one which I will be offering later hopefully as a high ticket item. This is just in the design stage at the moment.
All the newsletters titles are now logged, ready to have the titles of the promotional items and the in between bonuses added.
Raised a file just for these items, to avoid me getting too confused with what I want to do with the items as I get them ready.
This is another reason for writing this now, to give me a break from all that is buzzing round in my head, I just cannot believe how excited I have become, having a really clear picture of what I am trying to achieve.
The Next Few Days
Despite being high on the project (not drugs).I am going to have the weekend off, if the weather is decent will do some work in the garden, but more importantly my Family Tree, which has taken some thirty years to assemble appears to have disappeared. Will contact the computer folk if need be, as they did say that they had kept my old disc intact.
In the meantime I will attempt to move some of the old records across, which I have on disc, as a back up, these are not complete but will help. Fortunately have a lot of records on a special file on the computer, mainly in the form of notes, but they can be used, as can the boxes of hard copy which I have always kept.
Not only do I have duplicates of Birth, Marriages and Deaths, but copies of family trees which I printed out to transcribe, so with luck, though there is an awful lot of work to do, should eventually be able to restore the Family Tree, that is if I cannot get the original back.
After the weekend it will be back to the project, just hope that I will be as fired up on Monday as I am now with it. Think that I will be, assuming that I do not throw things through the window as a result of frustration with the Family Tree work which I intend to attempt.
Think that you can tell that I am once more back to my normal self, as I have just accepted the loss of all my work, and thought, once I had calmed down. OK, let us see what can be restored. In addition to items mentioned, also have census records and several note books, full of research.
Will have a look at starting the draft for the sales letter, as it might help with my layout of the newsletters regarding the content. As I said do have notes now, so that I can refer to what I am doing, or want to do a lot more easily.
Conclusion
All in all despite the disappointment of the Family history records going, think that it has not been too bad a week. Appear to have begun to really sort out the project, appreciate that it is going to take time to do, but at least I feel that I know what I am doing and the direction that I am headed in.
Just hope that I can continue in the same vein next week.
Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy.
Please do stay safe,
God Bless,
Stuart

WOW, VH. Your brain is in overdrive and you sound VERY motivated!!!!! That's awesome.
I'm at my exMILs right now helping. She renews my subscription to ancestry.com every year for my birthday. So, when I got in to accept the membership, I found a ton of info that someone had found. Very exciting! I spent hours yesterday collecting data and populating my tree.
Like you, my problem is having my hands in too many things. Just not enough time in a day!!!!
I hope you're having a great weekend.

Hi VW,
When was your birthday? Fancy being 21 again!
So pleased that you have been able to add more to your Family Tree, spent a lot of yesterday adding to a baby one that I have on the laptop, only around 800 names compared to the 6,000 on the one that I cannot find. Still I will battle on when I have time.
Take care and have a great Sunday.

My birthday is this week. I think I'll be 50 again. Lol.
I have so much done on my site, I'd be in crazy mode if I lost it. I hope you're able to get all your data back!!!
Have a great week.

Yes, a very good month! When was yours?
It is the end of the month, the 28th, which is why we normally have a bank holiday in the UK, lol.
