Introduction

Good Morning to all you lovely people at the great Wealthy Affiliate Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well. I say Good Morning, it is in fact very nearly lunchtime, so this could be finished later in the day, just in the mood to write this post, at this moment in time.

Unlike my usual lunch on a Saturday, today's is easy, stuffed giant Yorkshire Puddings (One each) with my own recipe of minced beef, vegetables, onions, mushrooms, spices and not forgetting the red wine. Not done this for ages as we could not get the giant Yorkies.

General Thoughts

Since I started doing this general section of my weekly blog, have to confess that it does make me think what can I write about that just might be of interest to you all, with some different ideas or items that I use, that you just might not.

This week I am going to discusss how using graphics can help to lighten up your blogs, articles and even your books, that is assuming that you do not use them already. Personally, I do not use them as often as I should when I write my blogs.

If you are like me, when you have downloaded items, often you will have in the package a number of graphics, what do you do with them if anything? Each time I have any, I download them, then put them in a file. This makes life simple when I want to use them.

Now the truth, they are actually in a number of files, making another job, finding them all, then putting them in one folder, things got a little out of hand, the intention was good, not the application.

The graphic that I have used above just shows how you can emphasis a point that you are trying to make in your blog or article. You can also use photographs, but do make sure that you are able to do so

When I do my e books, I often add graphics to each chapter, sometimes as a heading or just to make a point in the body of the text.

The title is a little tongue-in-cheek to reflect the new image. This was designed using the graphic design kit on my second website, it was part of the upgrade which I bought the other week, as I am now going at this in quite a serious way. By way of explanation the two images on the right show The Queen just before I was presented at the opening of the Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, the lower one is of my Great Grandfathers Wedding in 1891. (No, I was not present, lol)

Last Week (Or The Week Just Gone)

I am not neglecting the Family History Site, posted another article on Wednesday, again got some nice comments. It was with some surprise that I was notified by Kyle that my first three articles on Family History have all been indexed. Must have started doing something right for a change.

As I mentioned in the opening paragraph of this section, have been working quite hard on my second site, have now opened a shop on there with e books and PLR material, think that there are some 400 plus items on it so far, along with the Clickbank Store which has been on there for a while, am starting to get it in a position where it can, hopefully begin to earn money.

Next week will see the advertising campaign for it launched.

It has also been a little slow in some areas, one of these weeks when I have done little bits here and there, not quite procrastination, more like having a break.

Looked at my Family History, still waiting for the affiliate to get sorted out, may just have to change tack on this if things do not change.

As I was getting bored, did put another book in place, ready to be re purposed.

The Coming Week

Will be making a more determined effort on the second website, this will mean really launching a good advertising campaign, also getting emails ready for the autoresponder.

The Family History site will also be visited, as I need to complete some more of the articles, these are helping to fill in the gap caused by not being able to put in a review at the moment.

Hope to also put all the loose graphic files into one folder.

That I think will do for now, otherwise it will be overwork once more.

Conclusion

Possibly not as much done as I would have liked, but, at least things are still moving in the right direction, just wish to continue in this vein,

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy,

Please do stay safe.

God Bless

Stuart

I am trying to perfect my graphics on Canva. Still have to do Jay's training on this which I hope to do tomorrow.
And Stuart if this is not a lot I can only imagine when you really get going lol. Good job buddy.

Thanks Hugh, had a smile at your reply.

I don't think we ever get as much done as we want to. The point is that you are doing.

Cheers Mate.

I'll take a serving of lunch!

You always seem to have things organized better than I ever have. Hope it is helpful.

Just checked the Chicken is roasting OK!
