Out The Top Fifty
Introduction
Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
Decided on the title as it is true, but it saved me thinking of a suitable title for this weeks offering, as it has been a week of very mixed actions and activities. But only dropped out of the top fifty today.
Not forgetting the fact that my shoulders and back decided to give me problems at times, as a result though I have slept in patches not as good as last week, in fact on two days during the night I have had to take a tablet to ease the pain, still not to worry I have known it worse.
The Last Few Days
Will attempt to get the notes for my activities in some sort of order, but will no doubt fail miserably! On the good news front have managed to spend half an hour in the garden, more shrubs beng trimmed, also a lot of Blackberry runners being cut out. These stem from when next door was a lake and rough ground. They just go wild each year as they come through the fence next door.
Having said that I have been known to make the odd Blackberry Crumble from those that I miss and let fruit.
This week I have managed to design some book covers for some of the new books which I been getting ready.
It has been a good week for the manual, I have managed to get the first six chapters in order, complete with content ideas and each with a graphic header.
Having said in order that is at the moment , as I could have a change of heart when I get to the proof reading stage, but we will see. Have also decided to have the books which I am suggesting as additional reading in a separate section with the chapter to which they refer annotated.
At the moment apart from sorting out the chapters and content I do have a lot of decisions to make regarding any additonal items and cross referencing which I feel will be needed, plus of course the leading material to advertise the manual, a long way to go yet.
Unfortunately I still have not been able to sort out the new product which I want to produce, but I will get there.
I have also decided that when the weather improves to start painting again, did have a look in the studio, alright, summerhouse, to check it had not had any problems with the weather over winter.
The week has not been a complete waste of time but possibly not as good as I first thought that it would be.
The Next Few Days
The truth is that am not yet really sure, I do know that have a lot to sort out, it is just deciding what to do with some of the material that I find.
It would be good if I could do some work on the manual, but that is not a priority, sorting out the new product is more important.

Blackberry crumble sounds excellent -- please send a piece.
As for pain, I can sympathize. At my age it's a daily companion in one way or another.
Don't feel bad about dropping from the top 50 -- I seem to go back and forth like a yo-yo. It is what it is. Hope your new week goes well.
One thing that I never worry about is ranking, it is what it is, after all we do not get paid or it.
Sorry to hear you're still dealing with the pain, Stuart. You're fortunate to have blackberries in your garden...you must make a wonderful crumble! Keep chugging away on the things you enjoy and just take it a day at a time. All will be well. Have a super new week!

Always look after your health first Stuart, sorry to hear that your shoulders and back are playing up again...
Happy to hear that you got some garden time in though, it will soon be Spring, but.... then the dreaded summer season (for me here anyway) won't be far behind!
Taking up painting again sounds like an excellent plan as long as you enjoy it...
As far as your online businesses, keep it simple and work on one thing at a time ok!

I do enjoy painting, starte again when I retired some fifteen years ago, then have had a rest due to various reasons. :-)

You're complaining about being out of the top 50? I'm WAYYYY down! Of course, I have no one to blame but myself. I've been doing a lot of other things. I tell you to focus yet I spread myself too thin. Guess we're two peas in a pod. 🤣 You're still more productive in WA than I am.
I finished part of my granddaughter's birthday gift (a stained glass gnome) and I'm working on an angel for myself. Then there's the scrapbook I'm working on for her as well. All this is time consuming and we each have the same number of hours in the week. What I really need is more time in the day!!!!! I barely get through my list of things to do each day.
Sorry you had to resort to medication for your aches. I've been getting headaches lately and have had to take meds as well. I think I just get stressed when I don't get everything done that I'd like. Having said that, we have faith, we're alive, have a warm place to live, have food, being productive and happy! So, we can't complain right?
Keep doing what you're doing. It seems that you have at least found a good balance and it doesn't matter if you're not in the top 50 anymore, you're still doing well!!!!!

Did not mean to complain about not being in the top 50, it was just something to use a s a title for this week's blog. As I do not get paid for my ranking I really do not mind where I am, do you?
You are very talented working in stained glass, which I love visiting Churches to see.
I think at times that I do spread myself too thin, but I enjoy doing what I do.
In fact I am really looking forward to going down to the "studio" and hopefully getting my water colours out again.
I feel that a change of direction will do me good, it will only be around two hours a week, but the break from the computer will do me good.
Well dear lady it is time for bed, hoping for a decent night's rest.
