No Work Done

Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the wonderful WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

For once thought that I would write this on a Saturday Evening, do have very little to tell you so this blog will be somewhat brief.

The Last Few Days

You may recall last week that I said that I intended to have this week away from the business, delighted to say that I have just about managed to do just that.

The main intention was to do the garden, yes some has been done, but not as much as I had hoped for, the main reason being the weather, OK I enjoyed doing nothing for once, it has done me the world of good, so much so, that I am considering having another week off next week.

Whilst I did have a brief look at a product that I need to sort out and a tiny advance look at some training, I have stuck to my word.

So what have I done? Read my kindle and attacked my family tree. Did mention that I had lost most of it thanks to problems on the computer, have managed to find some bits of it in some old programmes, so am beginning to put it all together again.

The most important part is that I found a programme with a few hundred names on, this programme needs to be renewed in the middle of next month, have decided that for the use that I have for it, to save myself some $200 and not renew. This means that I am having to copy everything across that I do not have on the Family History Programme.

It is taking some doing but I will get there, do have a lot of notes, but would prefer to copy across first.

Did have a most useful meeting in connection with he Branch's 100th Anniversary Concert, this is slowly coming together.

Thought of the Week

Forgot to include one last week, hope that you like this week's offering.

The Next Few Days

The truth is I have not really got a clue when I will be doing, would hope that I will be able to get some gardening done, the most important thing at the moment is copying across the family tree before I cancel the programme. Do know that it is highly unlikely to have any detail which I do not have, but do not want to take that chance, which I think you will understand.

It is possible that I will look at some aspect of the business, but I am not promising at the moment, as I have rather enjoyed just relaxing with my kindle. (Sad or what?)

Conclusion

A number of you commented that it was good to step away and have a break, how right you are, just did not realise how much time that I was spending on the computer, in many cases not really getting anywhere.

As you have said before, get one idea and see it through to its conclusion.

Have a feeling that is what could be happening when I get back to work.
