Blog Number Five Hundred
Introduction
Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well, also warm if your weather is anything like we are having in the UK, thou the sun is shining today!
Thought that I would make a start before I serve dinner, a real treat today I am cooking Breast of Chicken, Roast Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, Pigs in Blankets and my Chicken Gravy. followed by Strawberry Cheesecake and Cheese and Biscuits, washed down by a glass or three of Malbec.
If you are suprised by the word treat, I will explain, since Yvonne passed away I do not do a roast dinner from scratch, the reason is simple, the roast would last for too long, but when checking on space for Christmas, I found a frozen Breast of Chicken, so thought best I cook this today. Just taken the Chicken out to rest for ten minutes, it does look quite nice.
When I realised what number blog this would be thought that it was better than "Nothing Done", which about sums up this week as you will see!
Almost time to carve, back later.
That was very nice.
The Past Few Days
Have done a little of the training on WA. so far it is just repeating what I have done, so have not added anything, no doubt things will change as I get further into it.
Continue to have thoughts and ideas for my websites, just at the moment I am really struggling to get properly organised, as I sleep a lot, but I will get there.
Forgot to mention last week that the newBranch Chairman of my parent Branch of the Legion has asked me, assuming that the Committee agree if I would become the branch President again as this Branch has had alot of problems in the past and he would like me to help hime get back on its feet again. This branch is a founder member of the Legion, dear to my heart so I have said if the Committee would like me too, I have worked with the Chairman before and we get on well together, but we will see as they say!
Another factor is that they now only meet four times a year wich suits me better.
I went into the second bedroom last night, this was my office until the internet connection had to be moved, whist I was in there I noticed that there were a lot of DVD's in a storage unit, on checking found that there were a mixture of Business training, family history and Art. Did not reaise that I had a complete Artists Training course. Had a look last night at the first course and will be renewing my interets once more!
The Next Few Days
Thought that the Black Friday offer was very good, but will not take it in case I cannot afford to renew it next year.
Hope to have a look at least one of my sites, with a view to getting at least one of them up and running once more, but as always we will see!!!
Saturday will see me as a guest of the local council for the switching on of the Christmas Lights, it is always a nice event, just hope that the weather is kind.
Please stay safe and take care.
Be happy, healthy and Wealthy,
God Bless
Stuart

Just want you to know that I enjoy reading your weekly blogs. And yes, you do often make me hungry. 🙂
Hope that your switching on of the Christmas Lights goes well on Saturday. According to my weather forecast is should be dry. Our neighbouring village switched on the lights yesterday and it was absolutely pouring. Since we have only lived here for just over a year, I might have gone to watch, but I'd already got soaked once when taking the dog for a walk, so didn't want to get wet a second time.
And, like you, I agree that the Black Friday offer is very good indeed, but I won't be taking it up either. My Premium membership suits me perfectly. I have now been back and active for almost exactly a year. Last year I was quickly popping in to see whether I wanted to stay or cancel my subscription completely. since then I have been logging in and active every single day.
Wish you all the best - also with renewing your artist interest.
Have a good week.
Isabella
What you say not relate to your title , I thought you wrote 500 blogs articles and how much traffic do you get from 500 blogs articles?
Yes, the title means exactly what it says. This is Stuart's 500th blog on Wealthy Affiliate. If you go to his profile and look at 'Blogs' at the top, you will see that he now has 500.
I thought he say 500 on his website, in another words, I thoughts he say he have 500 articles on his website, therefore, I interested to know how much traffic he have on his website with 500 articles.
It mistaken. .. my bad.
Not to worry - when you are interested in finding out something, it's easy to misinterpret.
I have been writing a weekly blog for around ten years, it is nothing to do with earning money, merely me speaking to fellow members, hope that thie explains things a little clearer.

Hey VH
Congrats on your 500th blog. That's a lot. As always, I find your dinner always interesting except the parsnips. I can totally do without them!!!! I prefer dark meat to the breast BUT if someone else is cooking it, I will not complain!
I've had 2 Thanksgiving meals so far and one more to go although I will not be cooking for Thanksgiving. In fact, I won't even be leaving my house which upsets a friend of mine. We are butting heads over that. She insists I spend Thanksgiving with her family and while that's nice, it's not a holiday that is that important to me if not spent with my own children. I will spend the day preparing for my children to visit at Christmas.
With all the crafting I do for the holiday, my house looks like an artist shop exploded. I make special birthday cards (6ish), holiday cards (30 or more), special holiday cards (3), gifts for my bible study group (21) and gifts for my book club (7). This year I had to make 8 favors for the table I'm hosting for our church Christmas party. It's been a lot of work. My goal is to finish by the end of the week so that I can clean/prepare for the kids in Dec.
Well, you're doing it again......don't bite off too much becoming President. Think about what's really important and what your goals are for the next year. Your quitting WA is NOT an option (just saying). It keeps your mind stimulated and social connections different from your immediate circle.
What is the Artist training about? It sounds interesting but then I'm always interested in art and books.
I guess I better get back to work. I needed to come online and find the video for my granddaughter's b'day card. I forgot how to make it. The last one I did like the one I'm making her was in Jun and I've done a lot since then.
So, you have an awesome week and make it productive.
Take care
Always
Your VW
Hi VW,
This has got to be a record replying to your reply in one hour!
Must confess that Parsnips are one of my favourites, especially coated in honey.
Tend to agree that spending Christmas with your own family is important, which is rich coming from me as I want to be alone, also will not have my dinner at the pub as they are not cooking on Christmas Day this year, gets too busy I think with drinkers!!
I do have my food in, just not sure what starter to do, as it is a while since I cooked a special meal.
I stopped making my own cards sometime ago, in fact I gave my daughter a lot of my bits and pieces, it is about four or maybe five years ago when we started to not bother with Christmas Cards, think when Yvonne started to get poorly, we just sent immediate family, might extend the list this year, but I will see, could even make some!!
Whilst I am not advancing my WA membership, will not quit, it is to important too me, in fact the friendship and love that I have been shown this year, has made the cost of membership at this level priceless.
When I was doing my painting, I bought a number of DVD's on various aspects of the art, when I had a look at my DVD Tower yesterday I was astonished just how many that I had got.
Have a series on becoming an artist, this is what I was talking about, however having had a look at a couple of the lessons, will in fact now look at those that I have got on my three preffered mediums.
Acrylic, Water Colour and Pastel.
Will hopefully make a list of how to proceed next year to make it more productive, must really get a grip on things. Not sure if I mentioned that I fancied going on a trip down the Nile, however I need a new passport, and I have found out that the cost of insurance, becuase of my age, will be more than the cost of my holiday, so that idea is now a no go?
Think that I have rattled on for long enough tonight.
So Goodnight, God Bless, take care and have a most awesome week.
As always,
Your VH
