A Slight Adjustment

Introduction

Good evening to you all at the WA family, trust that you are keeping well, very busy and most importantly staying safe.

The title will no doubt send shivers down your spine, just what is he doing now, thought that he was finally sorted out, so did I, but as you will read this is nothing like as bad as it might look, in fact it is a very sensible and logical improvement to my plans.

It is surprising what a little research and thinking can do, when you have to spend all the time in fortress lock down.

The Last Four Days

As usual started each day with my visit to daily chat, a good mixture of comments as usual, it never ceases to surprise me the number of differing questions and comments that are aired.

Some of you will no doubt have read my article on opt-in forms, delighted to receive such a good number of comments, especially those who like me wanted to get it sorted, some who now have. Love this platform for the inter-reaction that it creates.

Had one or two holdups to my plans caused my things that I had to do here at home. Strange to relate it helped me tremendously, instead of being able to spend an hour or so on the computer at a time, it was more like ten minutes here and ten minutes there.

This gave me the chance to glance through not only old files on the hard drive, but various items on the web in general, which I had marked to research and look at when time permitted. This was an absolute blessing in disguise.

You will recall that my plan was to really crack on with my side hustle, doing as much as I could to get it ready in the very near future for having it up and running.

The work that I did, made me realise that I needed a slightly broader outlook to things, to avoid boring you too much, decided that another hustle that I found would run perfectly alongside the one that I was intending to use.

This also has given me the opportunity to have additional income streams, running alongside each other. A more broad approach if you like, but under the one umbrella.

Whilst researching have come across some great articles with advice and help on promoting and advertising, these will prove to be invaluable as I move forward.

The question is, has anything actually been achieved, or is it all talk. Delighted to say that I decided that the way forward was to use my new gmail account and launch a new website. This I have no done, complete with no less than seven new pages each with its own opt-in page. All have free gifts or offers on them, all different.

The next phase will be to begin promoting these offers and pages, hopefully this will start getting some names to put on my list. Ideally would like to get this going in the next few days as I launch the new campaign, but being a realist will not promise anything.

Did not think for one minute that I would get this far by tonight so am pleasantly pleased that at last things are starting to look more promising. The original side hustle (from last week) will be worked into this new website in the very near future, but need to get this new site rolling first.

A question of understanding what I am doing, whilst I am aware of what I need to do.

Will add the new site to my list once I am happy with everything.

It was my intention to do some more work on WA, but as I have said before, as much as I enjoy doing it, it does not pay me.

The Next Three Days

Allowing for the fact that tomorrow is Sunday, will possibly just make some notes in preparation for looking at ways to promote the new website.

Not forgetting that the Leg of Pork needs cooking and the crackling salting, have a nice Shiraz for tomorrow to go with it.

Back to the job in hand, my efforts will be to concentrate on how I approach the promotion of this new site, did forget to mention that while I was playing, wrote an email ready for when things are rolling, this is for the original hustle. Also makes me keep it in sight of my intentions, to use it and not neglect it.

Realising the enormity of how to go about promoting the website, think that I have given myself enough to do. We have also had two days of gales, so will need to see what damage, if any, has been caused to the Garden.

Conclusion

Having just read this again, think that I can be quietly pleased with how things have gone so far this week, but do accept that there is a long way to go yet, before I get this show on the road.

Just hope that things continue to improve and I do not run into my usual setbacks. It is many months since I first wrote that I was working on a side hustle, lost count how many different ones since, all abandoned for varying reasons. But at last I have opt-ins on pages, so I can but hope.
