In with the new
We are halfway into January of 2018 and a lot of us have realized we aren’t in the careers we want to be in. Don’t get me wrong, I like my job. I love my boss and I like being able to work from home if needed. I don’t like that I can’t ALWAYS work from home. That’s my goal. That’s why I am here. I need to be able to be my own boss. Make my own schedule. Have days off when my kids are sick without feeling guilty about calling in. My dilemma is that when I leave my current job, my boss will have to find someone to replace me. I’m the only one she has right now and I know she doesn’t want to find or hire or train anyone else. She has told me jokingly that I can’t quit. I know that I’m not stuck and I will do what I need to do for my family. I make decent money but of course it’s never enough. I’m so excited to be able to supplement my income and hopefully one day retire from the medical billing field. Yes I’m still young but I have huge dreams for my family and they all involve being able to come and go - not be tied to a 9-5 desk job.

Welcome to WA, being able to be part of your kids life, and the mother who will be there to help form their lives is important.
At the end of the day, you need to do what is right for you and your family. If your boss chooses not to have someone else trained then when you are able to leave and make working from home your reality she will be stuck. I, too, hope one day that this will be my only job!
Welcome to WA Raehall, all the best for your future plans. It will be great to start with Green Button on Top Left side and take consistent actions. See you on top.
