This blog post is short and a little off-topic from what we're all trying to accomplish, but I thought I would share it with the group.

For almost a year now, I have not seen my daughter because of COVID concerns. I am at high risk as a person with quadriplegia. I do not have excellent lung function.

She is finally getting to fly in from Seattle back home here to Texas. I'm so excited to see her. It's been so long, too long as far as I'm concerned.

For those of you in this group with kids, give them a big hug, tell them that you love them, and always be there for them.

Cherish and foster relationships with the ones closest to your heart and those that lift your spirit, not bring you down.

Time goes by so fast they and we are only on this earth for a short time, making every day count.
