SiteContent Ate My Homework!
Today I suffered a setback. I am not going to say it was a major setback, but it certainly is a disappointing one! I have been working on a long, best of review for the past 2 days and had close to 2000 words...
I was working on a remote computer, and saving often (since I am paranoid). Tonight when I sat down at my computer to continue working on my post you can imagine how shocked and upset I was to see that my document only contained about 350 words :( This was only a portion of the content that I had added last night, and everything that I did today was gone!
Thankfully, I was pretty pleased with the work that I had been doing and had posted a couple of snippets into a chat with a friend so I was able to recover a portion of my work. I am now back to about 800 words, but not even close to where I had been previously.

I have experienced that once, last week. I wrote an article and saved it to add the photos later. When I returned, only my headline was available and no reviews :-o. Not pleasant but that is technology.
Hope you catch up and get your article posted as you wanted it.

Did you check the revisions in the lower right corner?
I was working on a post one time and somehow deleted the whole thing. I was about ready to flip out when I noticed the revisions. Of course, I was very relieved. Hope this helps.

Just happened to me, No autosave revisions since this morning...
It's disheartening when it happens. I can sympathize with you. It made me want to cry - two days work down the drain...
