Just read your blog and I think it is great that you are writing every day! I think that is key, to just DO something consistently. I think as time goes on, you will come up with new ideas of how you want your blog to be and you can implement those ideas. I am in the planning stages of starting a blog myself. What I do is, I research online other people's successful blogs on the same subject matter and see what is working for them. This gives me tons of ideas for more creative ways to set up my blog. What I keep in mind when I'm working on my own blog is, "If I found my blog online myself, does it entice me to come back again and again?" I think you have great content and your recipes are enjoyable to read. Great work! :-)

Thanks! I had the hardest time deciding on a niche...I'm still not sure about the one that I chose, but I had finally just jumped in. The same thing with my page name. It was tough to decide. I'm not crazy about it, my daughter thinks it's dumb and my friend loves it. It is what it is. What kinds of things do you have in mind for your niche?
First idea was "Job Talks": why we work and where. Then I looked at Children's Theater, a passion of mine but I don't really have a lot of experience. Now I'm looking at something for Baby Boomers...cuz I'm one
I had the same issue. I wanted to blog about Antique Suitcase & Trunk Restoration. I have several here that I need to restore. But, I don't knw anything about it and won't have time to learn that and IM, too. lol
I might even tell my wife you're into antiques...but I won't help her restore our trunks if she takes up that notion
No worries about me blogging about it. It's not high on my list...just hers. She'd likely take over my garage to do it.

The fact that you're doing something every day puts you ahead of many if not most people. I agree with what's been said before, if you continue to add (value) to your site everyday you will, I think, naturally continue to improve the look and feel of your site. Pictures of progress and finished dishes would be a great place to start.
I'm defo going to try the ribs recipe!

Thanks, Greg. I had to take a break for a few days, but I am back to it today. I agree, pics would be good. I've gotta figure that part out, yet. :)
